Nice place to lounge lakeside, near lots of interesting shops, to listen to some good music. Love the free concerts during the summer. Bring your own chair or blanket!

Preservation Plaza(fka the Green Space) is a gently sloping grassy area adjacent to Arnolds Park Amusement Park. During summer there are many different free activities to enjoy: live music with great bands, art shows, car shows, and a lot of families picnicking while relaxing near the sandy beach on West Lake Okoboji.

We were visiting family in Spirit Lake and taking in a concert by the lake was in order. We are so glad we did. It is a wonderful place to listen to music, sit out and chat and if your lucky, watch fireworks.
