I came here for the grand opening in August. It is such a gorgeous place! The front porch wraps around the building and you can relax and sit on one of the rocking chairs. The interior has been restored to its original beauty. There are art displays and interactive stations for visitors. They also hold some events, like live music, genealogy classes, art classes and more. The great-great-grandson of the founder of Blacksburg, Alexander Black, a prominent businessman, built this Queen Anne Victorian architectural style home in 1897. The family lived in the home until Alexander's death in 1935.
