The JBIT Ranch is a wonderful place to learn to ride. My wife and I just had the best time at our first lesson. Todd, Barbra, and their staff take the time to teach all the basics in a very safe and fun way. Add to this the well trained horses and great location, with views of the Blueridge Mountains and it would be hard to image a better place to learn to ride.

The JBiT is still one of the best places around the DC/WVA area for horseback riding lessons. Staff is friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. It's also very picturesque with the Blue Ridge Mts.

Last year I took JBit's "Haunted Halloween Ride" with friends and we all had a great time. The horses were gentle, but suspicious of the "haunted" trail. The trail was decorated with ghosts and goblins in the trees and behind bushes. The ride was followed by marshmallow toasting over a camp fire.We had such a fun time that we'll be doing it again this year.
