Lost Acres has a number of things going for it, friendly staff, fun events, beautiful grounds, and great tasting wine. They are open on the weekends and you can reserve the place for evening events as well. I have visited during events, like the great bands they bring in, or the moonlight snowshoeing, but also reserved the hall for a birthday party. Every time I have been impressed. You can tell that they care for the community. Events that bring in local farms and artists are frequent. You can check the website for details or pick up a flyer at the bar. Stop in for a tasting or to get a bottle and sit on the deck overlooking the vineyard. It's a fun atmosphere with a great staff! Support your local vineyard!

Visited this winery this past Sunday. We arrived at 1pm, the winery opens at noon, the tasting room was packed. The staff helped us make shift a table, but luckily one opened up for us. They had a band playing. The tasting was $6.00 for 5 wines and the wine glass. I prefer whites, I enjoyed Wedge White $12.00 and 10 of us sat down and enjoyed food we brought in(or purchase a chees platter) and good wine. Enjoyable afternoon, will def. return throughout the winter months but am looking forward to visiting when the weather warms to enjoy the deck and grounds. My only negative is the band was a bit loud which made conversation with friends across the table difficult.

Love the vineyard. They are growing and the community is supporting them. Love spending time on the deck in the warmer weather and love a Sunday afternoon by the fire when the mercury drops. Their wines are young as is the vineyard, but so very promising!

I read some of the reviews on here and was disappointed to learn that most, or all of the wines were imported from other vineyards or states.......whats the point of going to a winery if there not using there own grapes/wine? I was even shocked to hear that they dont even grow one red grape, you heard me , not even one red grape variety, yet they have several red wines for tasting/sale. WHAT???? The reds were very bitter to me and my wife said that one of the whites tasted like soap.....Very upsetting

This is the second time that I visited this newer winery. WOW!!! there were a LOT of people enjoying a wine tasting. Beautiful cork sculptures adorn the room. I purchase a few bottles of wine too!

This place is amazing! The people are down to earth and not pretentious like some other wineries. They allow you to bring in your own food. They have a very nice indoor seating area, large porch, and a large lawn. Definitely a nice place to spend an afternoon!

Was there Monday with gf and her daughter. Had a very good tasting red wine - "Rockwall". I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. Great cheese plate with cheese from near by "Sweet Pea Farm" - stopped by there and enjoyed watching the goats too. Vines just starting to bloom. Have been here before when in full bloom. I have to say that I like this place they do it up right. Plus artwork to view inside the tasting room. A+ in my book. They often have music but haven't been there yet with that going on - I imagine it being very enjoyable.

This farm winery is about 3 years old, but getting such rave word of mouth reviews, we just had to go see what the "buzz" was about. Absolutely one of the best vineyards we have ever visited!!. Owners are super friendly, staff are lots of fun & super helpful in every way possible. The grounds & building: beautiful to say the least. Great large deck overlooks the vines with ample seating to sit & relax & watch the horses on property graze, listen to the soft acoustical music, & just relax & enjoy the scenery. The building inside also gorgeous any time of year. Beautiful stone fireplace on the colder days, just a great comfy, cozy atmosphere any time of year. They showcase different artisans throughout the year, so there is always a change of beautiful artwork, photographs etc to look at. They also have a cute little retail area that showcases local products from the area!!The wine: Ok, so I'll admit it. I am FUSSY about my wine. What I found here was phenomenal. Obviously great care & love goes into their wines. The winemaker Kevin is always on property, & will answer any questions you may have. His winemaking started as a hobby, & boy has he perfected his craft!! Now I am a "Lost Acres Vineyard" junkie!! Their wines are just about the only wine I care to drink. Tastings are done in a unique fashion. There are I believe 8-9 wines, & you get a card to pick which 5 wines you want to try, along with a tasting glass to bring home all for $6.00. The pricing on their wines are very reasonable. You can do a tasting, or just buy a glass of your favorite to enjoy, or just go for it & buy a bottle to relax & sit & ENJOY! There are yummy cheese plates (made with local products) to nibble on along with antipasto plates both available to purchase. If you want to bring your own snacks thats fine too.Events: So who doesnt love some live acoustical music to drink wine & listen to? They host free jazz on selected Sundays throughout the year, along with some very low key "concerts" on various selected evenings on some weekends, for a small cover charge. There are also some great unique events as well. Sip & Spa: Enjoy some wine while enjoying a massage, reflexology, and other spa type things for a very reasonable price. The admission is free, just pay for your wine, & most of the vendors do a "by the minute" price structure. Sip & Shop: All local artisans, crafters, bakery, etc set up tables so you can shop for gifts in a fun setting while sipping wine. The vendors are so unique. Great choices for gift purchases or quite frankly yourself!! Also have been to two farmers markets there, right around Thanksgiving & Xmas holidays. All local farmers selling their products...Most events are free admission. FYI: the harvest party is a must do, quick sell-out every year. Held in Sept, it celebrates the harvest of the grapes, & features a harvest dinner held outside (weather permitting) with all local food homemade just for the dinner. All I can say, if I havent bored you with my review, is just go. You wont be disappointed, & I think you will find yourself becoming a regular visitor...I know I am, just make sure you dont take my seat...LOL...
