reed canal park

This small park tucked away behind the canal has a great disc golf course for anyone interested. There are swing sets, clean bathrooms and walkways through the trees. Families can enjoy a picnic, swingsets or go to the pavilion and play football or soccer on the huge field.There is a retention pond in the back behind all the trees and a great walkway for anyone wanting to walk their dog or stroll the area and watch birds or the fountain in the center.The city of South Daytona maintains this park and there are always people around. Kids walk through the park on their way to school, so it is a safe place to hang out and enjoy the large live oak trees that are native to Florida

Reed Canal Park is a very clean and comfortable park. The entire family can go for the day and have good old fashion fun. Swings and slides for the little ones and tables and cook-out setups for the older crowed. We bring our grand kids there to enjoy nature and laughter. Nature walks and a nice lake to sit at and read. Clean restrooms and drinking fountains are also available.

Very large park for walking around. About 1/2 is wooded. Has a disc golf area also. Soccer field. Pond which some radio control sail boaters use sometimes.

My grandchildren and I really enjoy this park! The park offers a children's play area, picnic tables, frisbee golf, pet play area, walking trails, and of course a beautiful lake to walk around. We have been there on occasion to watch a club sail their miniature sail boats in competition. The park has clean rest rooms, water fountains that also offer pets a fresh drink at their level, and a field.
