The course plays well and is very scenic and lush. Enjoyed seeing some wildlife. The caddy who accompanied us was very helpful. Practice facilities are well kept.

The Oconee course is immediately adjacent to the Ritz Carlton Lodge. Walk there or have them take you on a cart. Huge practice facility and a pro shop that rivals any. The course has several holes on beautiful Lake Oconee with the finish on 18 just breathtaking. Come stay at the Ritz or rent a golf cottage. Play all five of the courses available to non members. I guarantee you will like it.

If you're a golfer, be sure to play this one when you're in the neighborhood - great course in great shape with fabulous customer service

The golf course was in immaculate condition, the greens perfect, the weather beautiful, the staff accommodating, the provided lunch boxes were really good, and overall had a absolutely wonderful day!

There are so many choices at Reynolds Plantation for golf. This is not at the high end of price and quite a good layout and challenge for the value. We played as a couple; it provided enough challenge and not overly difficult for my wife.

This Rees Jones course is an excellent course in great condition. It is much better than the typical "resort" course. A very good choice if in the area.

I played in ideal conditions. The weather was warm with very little breeze and the course was in spectacular condition. The greens were true and fast and the fairways were like practice mats. The course has great character. What a treat.

This has to be one of the most beautiful golf courses I have ever had the pleasure of playing. So many wonderful views of the lake and holes lined with streams and waterfalls. Unfortunately, we got rained on pretty good and the experience was not ideal. It's definitely a challenging golf course, but if you're playing well, it can be tamed.Would love to play again under better conditions.

We had a good time on this course. It was a challenge if you wanted it to be, but forgiving enough that there was always a way out. As the previous reviewer noted, the course was in what I would call average shape, greens were hard and fast. Fairways were well trimmed and maintained, the rough was well rough...many insect problem areas...will need some time to clear these areas up, but don't discount the course, it was really nice to play on.

Played here during Masters Week. The fairways and rough were both dormant. For those unfamiliar (as I was previously), this means brown, if there is any, grass at best. The fairways were as bad as any I've ever played on. The pro shop blamed it on the late spring but everyone else I spoke with said it was because the course superintendent chose save money and not overseed.Naturally one might be asking, "If the course looked like that why would you spend the money and play it?". During Masters Week the Ritz charges their guests IN ADVANCE. My plane could have gone down on the way there, it could have been lightning, but they zap your credit card before you ever step foot on the grounds. It's clearly a scenario where they have your money so they don't care what the product looks like. In addition, we saw the beverage cart a grand total of once during our round. Maybe if she had announced that she was leaving for the day, or maybe if there was someone working in the halfway house it wouldn't be so annoying. But again, if you're going to charge absurd prices (in advance), you'd expect them to be fully staffed. Lastly, I made a cordial call to the proshop to voice my displeasure and let them know it was borderline criminal to charge people full prices for a course in that condition. I was met with a response of "How do you expect fairways to look?" and "I'll have my Director of Golf" call you back. Unsurprisingly I never heard back from them. On a positive note, the Oconee Course at Reynolds Plantation currently holds the top position on my long list of golf courses played as the worst-conditioned, overpriced course I've ever witnessed. Congrats!!!

I'm a beginning golfer, have been playing a few months and love it. This was a fun course, nothing too narrow, views were great and it seemed fun for both men and women!

Gorgeous course with tee boxes for every level. Practice Range was superb; staff was awesome.

As a high handicap golfer, I was a little concerned about playing the Oconee Course. But it turns out that the course has several teeing areas making it possible for even the worst golfers to have an enjoyable round. The course is in near perfect condition with mostly generous fairways. However, I suspect as the weather warms and the rough grows a bit it will be somewhat more challenging.

Tee to green, I liked it all. Good elevation changes. Great bunkers and many undulated greens.
