A small collection of crocodiles and fish that are easily viewed as the enclosures at quite small how ever all the animals spear in excellent health. The main attraction here is Cassius the largest crocodile in captivity world wide.... How can you not want to look at that !!!!

Impressive animals - you get a good view of the fierce creatures without getting in harms way.The crocs can only commend respect - they are perfectly designed for what they do.

Although quite small, it is unique with its combination of predominantly crocodiles and Melanesian artworks. The croc feeding shows occur twice a day - morning and afternoon. Your admission price allows for return entries for the duration of your stay. It is worth going to a few feeding shows as different crocodiles are fed. We saw two shows hosted by grandchildren of the founder and each adds their own personal touch to the informative talks. The first show saw some vigorous activity by a young male and we were introduced to Cassius, the oldest and largest crocodile in captivity. You can also have your photo taken with a baby crocodile. The Melanesian artwork added an interesting backdrop around the site.

We didn't think there'd be a lot to do on Green Island with a toddler so this was a nice surprise to find a Crocodile Farm. Small compared to Australia Zoo but you get a better view of the crocs here and some friendly brave staff who feed them! Would return to the island for a revisit. They supply aeroguard, but I'd Bring a can of your own. The mozzies are vicious in there!

We recently went on a day trip to Green Island. After snorkelling for a while and having lunch we went in search of something to do. Marineland Melanesia was only a short stroll from the main beach/restaurants, was inexpensive and looked like it would be interesting. After heading in the exhibits were great with lots of artifacts. We were able to get up close with the baby crocodiles and were fortunate when we visited that a small crocodile was being handled which made for an even closer experience. The exhibit is well looked after and there is a lot of information available. The people are also very friendly. I would recommend this place for anyone who is interest in melanesian artefacts, exploration and crocodiles.

Slightly tucked away and not really advertised by the tour boats (maybe this is the only bit of green island they dont have a share in)Dont let first impressions put you off...walking through the first part you wonder if its worth the money until you get to the crocodiles..they are hugeTry to get there for feeding time...its amazing

This attraction is sadly a well kept secret - one of the best tourist attractions in Cairns. Home to a spectacular collection of tribal art, unique gifts and numerous crocodiles! Including the largest croc in captivity in the world. Aquariums of beautiful fish and a pond containing king turtles. The staff are helpful & friendly - Carl was fantastic with his knowledge and willingness to explain things to us. At $18.50 - it is a must see for visitors to Green Island

We loved our visit to Marineland Melanesia!! What a fantastic family business this is. The shows were personal fun and very informative. Amazing creatures! The feeding is sensational and terrifying at the same time! Our children loved it so much we went for every morning and afternoon show for five days! And I can honestly say I learnt something new each time I went! Jemma was a very gracious and knowledgeable host and you can see the love and respect she has for all their crocodiles! The kids have taken to feeding our pet dog from a feeding stick since we've returned!! Cassius is simply unbelievable, he is prehistoric!! The kids loved to pat and touch cuddles at the end of the show..... maybe next time we visit he will be as big as Bulla or Bronto!! A must visit A+++

This is a fantastic place to visit while in Cairns! Ever wanted to get up close and personal with a croc? First, go and meet Cassius [5.5 metres], Brutus [4.2 metres] and his girlfriend Babinda [3.5 metres]. Of course you'll need to go at feeding time, just to get a great view of Cassius and his appetite! You'll think twice about swimming in the local rivers of Queensland! Then have your photo taken with "Cuddles the Croc" he's only 4 years old and his jaws are taped shut!

Great opportunity to see crocodiles up close.... and i mean up close !!! Make sure you visit at feeding time 10.30 and 1.30 and can even hold a baby crocodile and have your photo taken.

Worth a visit to see such big crocodiles and definitely worth going at feeding time. Our daughter loved the photo opportunity to hold a 4 year old croc called Cuddles!

We visited this attraction to see Cassius but were pleasantly surprised to find so many crocodiles and so many Melanesian tribal artifacts - this was a quite amazing collection. I spent a lot of time contemplating what kind of nightmares Melanesian people had to carve such things. Some of it was seriously creepy but fantastic stuff. The crocodiles were also awesome. I have never been so close to live, big crocodiles. We saw Cassius get fed and were suitably impressed by the size of his neck. There are other big crocs too. This place is well worth a visit.

The entry fee is not worth it - they would do better to lower the price and increase the number of people entering. The crocodiles were interesting to see, but it really only takes 20mins to walk around and take a look. There are also 2 turtles in a tank, which was sad to see, although we were advised they would not survive if they were released - not sure what is better though for them...
