Oh wow what a hidden gem in our little Shire. It is only a short walk to the swimming hole and falls. You can if you are game climb up the top to the pools above the falls, but this place is fabulous. Take a picnic lunch, bottle of wine, but take your rubbish with you when you go. Pristine water to swim in, lots of shade. Spend a day if you like. Great place on a hot day.

Simply amazing local spot. Easy walk to the waterfalls, impressive waterfalls, great swimming and beyond all, perfect spot for jumps....for all levels. On the way back to the car, we have chosen to decend directly via the creek, and it was another amazing experience for the kids (just be ready to submerge into the water with the staff that u carry)

We weren't sure where to park when we got there so parked at the toilet/bbq area and walked for about 5 minutes down the dirt track. There were limited signs and other people were also unsure where to go. The actual track to the falls was a little overgrown and many trees had fallen over but it was easy walking and didn't take very long to get to the falls. Had to cross a small stream but large rocks made it possible to cross without getting wet. We didn't bring our swimmers but there were a few other people swimming - I thought it was a bit too cold! Great place to visit, would come again in the warmer months for a swim!

Wonderful falls if you cross the river and walk up to the upper falls. We went after a couple of days rain, the stream was ankle deep to cross, but safe to do so at this level. Lots of water flowing over them, Picturesque location. Road - good enough 2WD track up to the main car park - 4WD for the 300 odd meters down hill (easy enough to walk this bit though if moderately fit).

Hi all,Myself and 2 other adults and a 10, 8, 3 yo visited Nethercote Falls in November 2013.The falls were signposted at the intersection of Back Creek Rd/Pipe Clay Rd. It took about 15 mins from Eden and about 10 mins from Pambula. when heading down the road, you arrive at a set of picnic tables and are advised that the next section is steep and only for 4WD in wet. This section goes for about ~300m. When you park your car its a 10 minute walk to the falls. The path is natural but fine. The falls had plenty of water going over them, so were great. The water was very cold. other walkers coming in had wetsuits to use.Its very pretty and there is a picnic table there as well.Signs do advise of undercurrents in the water.....so swimming is done at your own risk. Kids should be well supervised. Youtube videos show people jumping off the rocks, but obviously check for submerged items before doing this. Its a great place to visit, swim, enjoy the atmosphere and if keen explore the falls higher up.
