Stayed there for 11 days along with wife, 3 year old and 1 year old. Rooms were absolutely fine, cleaned every day to a good standard. The slides were very good, water a little chilly except for the childrens pool near the restaurant. The staff were excellent and were rewarded with tips which were greatly appreciated. Having younger children we did have a couple of difficulties (early check out, sick on bed) which reception staff (can remember his name but is on most days) helped us out with, with very little fuss The food is above average based on previous AI experience, but like everywhere did get bored in the end. We ate out on a couple evenings and cost £15 maximum!!Beach bar at the beach hotel serve hot dogs and burgers each day which were nice, and the staff a good laugh!The touts outside the hotel are a real pain in the tush!! Some are a good laugh but some extremely intrusive and abrupt- more so those with the camels. Had a couple of harsh words with them.All in all, a good hotel with excellent staff. Would we go again? Yes we wouldOn a side note, in terms of the recent troubles, we never witnessed anything. Saw a couple of jets and Chinooks the day after the bombs in Alexandria, but nothing on the ground in the resort

Just returned from 10 days at the Sindbad and would highly recommend it. The staff from the cleaners to the management are superb, so so friendly and will help you with everything. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. There are plenty of places to eat and drink - the Thai restaurant was my personal favourite, the Red Thai Curry was fab. I went as a couple but this is a great place for children due to the water slides and many pools, your kids will never be bored. Hoping to go back in June.

We took a couple of young relatives there in Novrmber, a perfect time to go as the day temperature are a perfect 26ºc.The park has alot of rides to suit all ages, but we relaxed with refreshments and watched the younger ones have ENDLESS FUN... So long as they are happy (and they were having the time of their lives) we too were happy seing the joy Iin their faces. My only minor negative comment was getting sufficient shade due to poitioning of the limited number of umbrellas when busy.

Went with friends the wave machine is good. Not too busy probably because the number of Russian tourists in Egypt have decreased due to the exchange rate problems

Really nice to visit here while we were in hurgharda last week, the slides are very good especially the big yellow one as you go in, we were here in late jan early feb and all but the wave pool were heated, the kids pools are lovely, also the restaurant 'la cabana' is wonderful, the staff here are very welcoming and the chef will cook you anything he has he was very good,

loads to do and a good laugh when your with good friends the wave machine is good on or two of the slides were a bit high for me but it was good fun watching my friends come down them maybe next time for me

At the zar bar the service was briliant and very friendly medhart was especially good with everything very welcoming the food was good and had a lot of variety at all reataurants would recommend

Stayed here with my daughter in August 2014. Fantastic for kids. Water park is amazing and you also have use of the beach hotel. Resort areas I would give 5 star but the rooms are more a 3. However staff are fantastic. Really friendly and helpful and cannot do enough to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Very spacious grounds. Pools are fantastic and cleaned to perfection. You have use of all restaurants across the 3 club hotels so can choose where to eat. The only let down is the sometimes ill mannered German and Russian visitors who behave as if there is a food shortage at meal times and practically push you out the way to be served. The staff cope with this extremely well and ensure there is enough for all! Great location as in quiet and peaceful area in Hurghada. Lots of shops to browse and if you get sick of being pushed KFC, McDonald's and Pizza Hut are 2 mins walk away. Evening entertainment is held in an outdoor theatre which is amazing to relax in however shows are more tailored to entertain the food shortage gang. But if you like shisha and need to keep the kids entertained its great as they have a soft play area. The new marina is 10 minutes drive away which is a great place to escape to as well as new downtown and old downtown areas. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. The staff are absolutely fantastic and they are what make this hotel luxurious.
