weber's cedar mill farm

Weber's is literally down the road and around the corner from my home. When it is open, I'm there almost every week. They have a nice selection of vegetables and canned items. I like the cheeses from farms in the next county. The breads and pies are so good! The apple cider donuts are too good. I buy containers and freeze them. Their gift shop has wonderful, unusual things & I am always buying family gifts from what they offer. They enhance our neighborhood tremendously It's simply a wonderful, charming family run business and I hope I'm dead before they ever go away.

For being an out of state person it was interesting to see a "city farm". I mainly chose this farm because of the slides and it ended up making it worth the trip all in itself. They also had a maze of straw stacked real high that was done real good; impressed. The duck racing was neat. To me the boo barn, hay ride, and everything else was nothing compared to what I have experienced even my 6yr old son said it was lame but he loved the slides n maze. The fee is affordable $6/adult $8/kid and you can go on the slides as much as you want so that alone was worth the money. They had a huge store of food and drinks and produce; very pricey to me. I think its good for young kids but for older they have a "make your own scarecrow" so that could be interesting for older kids. It was a crowded place so obviously popular to locals.

Webers has the best apple cider donuts, apple pies, and slushies. My kids love them. You can pick a pumpkin, buy apples, produce and decor. They have a wonderful bakery. There are a few fun photo props like a growth chart and stick your head in the apple basket. You can also make a scarecrow for a feeThey have children's activities on the weekends including a hay ride. It is family owned...a bit overpriced.

Children will enjoy the many children's events held here during the holidays, families will enjoy the music and "old tyme" family feel, and everyone will enjoy the home-made cider, home-made pies, cakes, etc. I always take out-of-town guests there.

Love their apple cider donuts. They are moist with a great texture and flavor. I like them better then other places with apple cider donuts because I prefer soft to some of the others that have a crisper crust. The country apple pie is also very tasty.

I LOVE Webers for their fresh apples, pumpkins and other fruits and vegetables for sale. Their baked good and variety of homemade jams is out of this world! The people working there are friendlty and fair. Great place for couples, families and everything in between.

As usual this time of year, we venture outside for some fall fun. Hay rides and pumpkins. Haunted barn and more. Corn mazes and best of all apple cider doughnuts. Yes, the taste of fall is as great as the sights and sounds.There are barn yard animals ( goats, chicks and more). The slide down the hall and the hayride. All of this and more. Stop, pick your own apples or buy at the store. Try the apple cider hot or cold, delicious.But most of all, pick up a mum and give to your mom. Or go get doughnuts and eat yourself fat. Try the sweet and salty kennel corn popped on site. Yummy, the tastes and sight of fall

Autumn is the time to go to Weber's farm in Parkville, Md. Yes, ther is an admission price ( price is higher on the weekend). It is outside play. There are hay rides around the farm (once a hour); corn mazes ( good photography spot from the brige over the maze); smaller mazes for the little children; farm animals(goats, chickens, turekys) and a hill to slide down on a hay bag. Great dun. Best at this time of year. Cannot pick apples yourself this year as the trees have been replanted.After you play, you can visit the Haunted Barn. Not scary at all. The young children love itNow comes the adult portion of the farm, the pumpkins and the mums for sale ( various sizes and colors). Produce ( fresh apples, vegetables) food inside the country style store. Try the apple cider donughnuts. A dozen for $6.00. Good value. Once you try them, you will eat 1/2 dozen before you get home. There are gifts and other seasonal items ( fudge, ice cream, bread and sauces). Just a great day to spend outside.Grab your children, your neighbor's children and head to the farm for some seasonal fun.
