I love this golf course. The price is right ( $20.00 for us old guys everyday ) Never too crowded and always in decent shape. It can be a challenge to even the better golfer, but always fun. Nothing fancy as far as emenities go, but functional. Take a couple of hours to enjoy a peaceful, pleasant round.

I don't really care for this course. Short and narrow. Clubhouse is about as barren and equipped as the closet at home I keep my golf equipment in. It's great for high schoolers I guess. One step above a goat farm.

This is a little hidden gem! The course meanders through forest and up and down hillsides. It's very well maintained. It's a long executive course, with a lot of par 4 holes that will challenge the best golfers. Many fairways are tight which adds to the challenge. The greens fees are very reasonable as well.

I started golfing last year. It is a inexpensive course and is never over crowded. The greens are not as well kept as other courses I've been to!

This executive-length golf course will test the skills of even the most skilled golfers. The hilly terrain and the large, undulating greens are a great test of your short game and the views are stunning. It feels like you are in a special, secluded place when you play here. We use Hope Valley for our senior golf league and our members wouldn't change courses on a bet! The staff is very accomodating and helpful and continually working to maintain and upgrade the course. The prices are amazing for what you get and its probably the best value in Maryland. Most surprisingly, there is fairly low player volume so you can usually get on at almost any time. A round can be completed in much less than 4 hours, even on the weekends. I highly recommend trying this hidden gem just east of New Market, MD.

We have played this course several times, most recently in July. It is a nice play if you are just starting out in golf, or want a shorter but challenging course. It is an "executive" curse - the holes are all par 3s or 4s, but the greens are narrow and bordered by forest, so f you are not accurate you'll lose a few balls. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Course is not bad, the greens are pretty good but the fairways could use some work (but are still tolerable). The price is a bargain - for summer 2011 $18 for a round, including cart. If you are an advanced player you may not like this course, but for learning the game, and the challenge of staying on narrow fairways, it is a lot of fun.
