Shot at the Great American 3-day shoot. Though numbers were low for a big shoot, the targets were amazing and the staff and local shooters were very hospitable

Folks need to understand that when you come to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, you are a foreigner. Be respectful and these people will be very accommodating. Hopkins Game farm is no exception. These folks are just lovely. It's a big place with lots of stations but it is run by a very small crew. They have, in recent years, hosted some of the big shooting tournaments and their shooting stations are incredibly imaginative. And on a breezy day one of the stations will have the clays sail out and then right back at you. Their hours in off periods can be a little unpredictable but it's easy to call ahead to see if they are open or if their is a tournament that weekend. I've been there several times in the last couple years and it has actually improved quite a bit over what it was a few years ago. They have carts, but I prefer to walk. I've never had problems with it being crowded. Once in awhile a station won't work but that is to be expected. Taught my wife how to shoot there. It's a very relaxed environment.

This family is a premier vendor for both live hunts and sporting clay facilities.Been there two times in the past 6 years and would love a good excuse to return soon.If you have a chance to go, do not miss the opportunity.

Our large reunion group shot over two days on the sporting clay course. We hired a guide and that was most helpful as none of us had enough equipment for this large group. The people at Hopkins were friendly and the customer service rep., shown in photo, was super friendly. :) Part of the course was closed since it was hunting season, but nonetheless, we had a good time and shot for about four hours each day. No issues with booking our trip, with the staff, or with the course. Our guide, from another town, was FANTASTIC and made our trip even more enjoyable.

I have been once without an appointment, The people were very nice and it was one of the best sporting clays courses I have shot. The presentations were realistic and well thought out. You will need two people as there is no delay on the traps.

The staff is incredibly rude, they treat you with contempt and disrespect. Customer service is does not exist. Folks should boycot their tourtaments and let them to go to attrition, they are a disservice to the sport.

The sporting clays track opens only when it's convenient to the owners and staff. Do NOT believe the hours of operation posted on its Web site. Do NOT believe the hours of operation given you if you call ahead. If you don't live nearby, do NOT travel to this site unless you don't mind taking a round-trip drive for sightseeing purposes only. There are other sporting clay tracks on the Eastern Shore. Try those and leave this one to its owners and their friends.
