monster mini golf

we played a round on a weekday whilst visiting DC so the place was fairly quiet, which was nice. The course is fun, with glow in the dark features, good art work and robotic monsters. Our friend's two year old was a bit scared of some of the monsters, but the boys loved it. They had a live DJ who added a bit to the atmosphere.

To set the stage, my son had called Monster Mini Golf over a week in advance and talked to them about his large group of 40+ wanting to come play on Saturday night at 7pm and how to make sure his group would be accomodated at that time to play. They said to him there was no reservations, but when he got there they could pay and get to play promptly, and everyone would definitely get the chance to play, but in the meantime they were free to be in the arcade.This included potential members for my sons organization who came to this event to check out his group prior to joining it.Problems:1. When they got there they were told they couldn't start buying tickets, AND they were too many people to be in the arcade & no space for them so the group had to go outside in the rain!2. They told them to come back at 7:30, which they did, and then claimed "oh we meant after 7:30, we can't take you till later."3. They had before told my son they didn't accept reservations, but they had a list right in front of him of people who had made reservations in advance4. They said just wait around here and there's just four reservations ahead of you (none of these had been removed from when his group had showed up before...possible no shows)5. They got mad when my sons group were asking for updates.6. People didn't get to START playing until 8:15, and a good amount of people wouldn't have gotten to start till much later so they didn't play. My son called to explain to the manager how badly this horrible experience reflected on him, his group and her business. She unfortunately just tried to rationalize it to him. He asked what she could do to try to make this better for the group having endured this, and her only offer after discussion was $1 off per person in the future vs really trying to work with them.I want to warn others of how they may be treated at this location. Yes a fun course, but to have the group so mistreated is totally unprofessional!!

One of our area's newest fun spots. Went with another couple. Played for a couple of hours, met the owner who gave us a tour. Facility very clean. Would have worn more white had I known there were day glow lights all around. :) Would go back and would bring my kids.

Tried this with friends and family. Its very dark inside and is a great way to kill 45-60 mins. Price seems a little bit too much, but I guess the glow lights are expensive.

Cool place, good challenge and just lots of fun. Only downside is there is only one course. But unless you go all the time, you won't remember the holes anyway!

We know a fair amount about mini golf, having played for many decades and played Myrtle Beach's finest. So, we decided to try this course using a Groupon.Our sons are 19 and 22 so I put up $20 to the winner to make it interesting and yes, if I win I just get my $20 back.. That's just the way this Dad rolls.Well, our opinion is that any mini golf hole should be makeable in one stroke. While anything is possible, on several of the holes this is nearly impossible.Also the staff had the annoying habit of clinging to golfers such that at one point I had to ask one of the staff to move because she was standing right behind the hole we were putting. We felt like we were in a prison work release program.So, with the hole design and cloying staff, we won't be back.For those who care, our oldest son won the Zich6 Family Invitational.

The layout of the golf course was great and it's indoor. Enjoy some mini golf while staying warm... The glow in the dark atmosphere was a fantastic idea... Everything glows... The monsters displayed through out the course was awesome especially the big one... This place is great for a family fun activity if you have kids... Adults will also have fun!!! They have a DJ also for entertainment as you play... Have fun!!!!
