We have been to many events there and the old, classic, but renovated theater is a great venue. There really are no bad seats.

This is a terrific venue with very good acoustics and very reasonable ticket prices. Went with friends to see Spyro Gyra last evening and thoroughly enjoyed their 2 hour performance! Only complaint is the couple sitting behind us must have thought they were at a restaurant and not a concert because they wouldn't stop talking during the entire concert. The old time ambiance has been maintained and the modern sound system was excellent. Location is great and there are many terrific restaurants close by for dining before or after the show. Parking is plentiful and ther is a garage right around the corner. Even though we live almost an hour away, we look forward to visiting the Weinberg Center again.

We went for a silent movie with organ accompaniment, and the entire theater full of people was spellbound. The presentation -- which included an introduction to the organist and a short movie about the incredible organ -- was perfection. We've been to many events here, and this place is just a magical gem.

We were there to see Red Green with friends and sat in the balcony. The seats were great and you did not feel you were that "far" from the show. We had a great time.

My second trip to this theatre for the holiday performance of The Nutcracker Ballet. Performed by local ballet students (starting around age 6) who are joined by professionals - this year from the New York Ballet. This is a sell-out event, with activities for children beforehand and small holiday crafts for sale in the lobby. The price is amazingly reasonable for this annual show, so it is very popular. Get there at least 20 minutes early as the crowd is thick. The theatre is very nicely renovated, though additional restrooms in the lobby areas would be helpful. If you think you are purchasing in the front row of the balcony, be aware that it really is just a step up from the mezzanine level, with no actual direct overlook to the stage. Still, the seats are raked well enough that impeded views are not much of a concern. Definitely worth a visit to this venue - they have interesting performances year-round.

Find a reason to see a show at this incredible venue. Excellent box office response, excellent ushers and beverage servers. Please support these wonderful theaters.

We recently attended a musical performance here. The acoustics were great, comfortable seats and an excellent selections of beer made for an excellent evening. Parking is nearby and most affordable at $2 for the evening! Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance in the historical district. Was able to meet the director of this establishment who shared the vision and the work to make this place happen. We will be back.

I love the variety of entertainment they present at the Weinberg and have been several times but we went to see 1964 - the Tribute last night and the heat in the balcony was oppressive. The theater itself is beautiful and well maintained, but I was so hot I was nauseated and couldn't wait to get out of there. I told one of the ushers it was too hot in the balcony and she just said, "Yup." Not exactly a premium theater experience. Maybe it's because it just started getting cold outside, I don't know, but regardless it was hot enough that my wife and I decided not to attend a show next weekend because of it.

The AC is broken and they are not fixing it. Ruins the experience. Theater has a lot of potential but they need to make the audience comfortable. Avoid until they can confirm the A/C is fixed.

I grew up in this city and knew this place as the Tivoli Theater. The building dates back to 1929 and is now home to many different entertainment events. Most recently my husband and I went to see a Beatles Tribute band called 1964: The Tribute. Fabulous Fun! ( senior tix $30. 50 each) The place was packed. The inside of this historic theater is nicely done. The walls are attractively done and the old chandeliers give it charm. I do not think there is a bad seat in the house including the balcony. We were in Row O on the far right and had a great view. You will see music here, as well as silent movies accompanied but the "Mighty Wurllizer" organ. Speaker series that feature notable journalists, political pundants.. you can also see locals too like dance recitals and the annaul Handel's Messiah sing along each Christmas.

I've been here several times on field trips over the years. My husband and I went to see a comedy show there one night. Weinberg Center hosts a wide variety of entertainment from concerts to old films. The theater itself has been lovingly restored and takes me back to the day when going to the movies was a big event with one huge screen and a stage. I love this place.

We hadn't been to the Weinberg Center in years and just recently attended a concert there. It's great to see it's still as beautiful as ever and the sound is just perfect too!I remember as a kid going to the movies there with my grandmother, it's a Frederick Tradition that shouldn't be missed out on.

Recently saw The Piano Guys at the Weinberg Center and it was one of the most spectacular performances that I have ever seen. The programing has really been great the last few seasons and offers a wide variety of entertaining options. The atmosphere, decor, and staff makes a night at the Weinberg Center an upscale event. Dinner downtown + a performance is a great night out!

Boy, was this show fun. Hubby had known this group's songs since he was 5 years old and when he saw that they were performing here he had to see them. We had 4th row seats with only two heads in front of us. Herman looks really good and performed non stop for 90 minutes. He went out into the audience several times, to distribute t shirts ($20 to buy which he signed later if you wanted) and to give out copies of his cds to the kids that he spotted. He told them to learn the lyrics. Smart! He kept his energy up every minute of the show and got the band involved. One guy had long legs and did some kicks for us while playing guitar. When he departed the stage he came down right beside us and shook hubby's hand as he made his way to the lobby to sign autographs. He also posed and smiled for anyone who wanted a picture and I tried for one but was stopped and chastised by an usher although there were many around me taking their pics and movies which the same usher said nothing to and didn't seem to see. I got plenty of close ups of Peter Noone from our seats. He is a great talent.

The Weinberg is a great place for multiple venues - great variety of entertainment from concerts, musicals, plays, and classic movies. The old style decor and atmosphere. Great for families, couples, and individuals.
