A nice spot to visit while strolling along the center of Oxford. Local history and local objects from the war of independence and before.

The museum is the perfect spot to learn more about the icons, architecture and historic benchmarks of Oxford's past. The Town was recognized the first Port of Entry along with a town called Annapolis, now known as Annapolis. The museum is perfectly located across from the Town's waterfront park on the main street. Museum staff are incredibly knowledgeable and their historical walking tour is well worth the time. Often times in the summer and fall the Oxford Business Association sponsors the tour - making it free to the public.
