This museum is first rate from both a technological and cultural perspective, Although not every exhibit appears to be working, there seems to be few reproduction with most everything being original. If only this museum could get a larger facility to display what they have in storage!Although there's no entrance or admission fee, as such, consider giving a little something as this is not a government-subsidized operation.

With a collection antique radios and TVs,recordings of early broadcasts and rare artifacts, it tells the story of the technology and the innovators who were instrumental to the development of modern day communications.

This is one of those little hidden gems that you can pass by and not know it. But do look it up and go, it's a lot of fun and educational for both the kids and parents. My husband and I went soon as we heard about it and really enjoyed it. The people who work there can tell you so much about the things you are seeing. Great fun and worth stopping by!!

Someone below called the museum charming. Excellent word. The Museum is a fun little museum. It's certainly not large, but it's a wonderful look at the history of broadcast radio and television, primarily from the perspective of the consumer. The collection is impressive, especially considering the size of the museum. The staff is very knowledgeable and really go to extra mile to explain the history. There were kids in the museum at the same time, and they were having a great time with the interactive exhibits. Highly recommended!

I was really impressed with the show representing the history or radio and TV. It is a small but very well organized and complete museum. It is organized by decades from last century, with several devices representing the evolution of the technology in a clear way. The guided tour is done by professionals that have lived the evolution of the technology in a very understandable way, easy to follow. Congratulations to NCRTV Museum crew.

Filled with fascinating examples of televisions and radios, an intimate museum that tells of the mediums' role in history and tech development. Warm, enthused, well-versed docents handle all questions thrown at them! Nice interactives. The romance of the radio era, the Golden Age of TV, the vital use of Morse, the leaps to today - packed into a historic farmhouse. Enjoyable and educational. Makes for good bonding moments. Great for school age on up.

This is an interesting museum. Going there is like taking a trip back in time. The radios and TVs remind me of my grandfather's house back in the 60's. Take your teenagers there if you want to shock them regarding how good they have it now. IPod compared to a floor model radio. Very cool place to take Cub Scouts for a field trip.
