looney's pub

My friend and I spent Halloween at Looney's. They had a $10 cover and a band call Amish Outlaws. The band was really good and played a great mix of music and artists. The place was so packed you could hardly move and going to the restrooms was quite a chore. I'm from Ohio and was just in town visiting a friend. I enjoyed all the costumes and the band very much.

If you like a loud, noisy place to eat, this is probably for you. The food was just average. It is a pub atmosphere, sort of, and seemed to be a younger crowd. Hence, the longer wait for our table.

My girlfriend and I follow the band "The Vigilantes" and other local bands, so whenever they play at Looney's Pub North we always go!!!

The food menu is amazing, and the food...superb! I'm really picky about my fries..theirs were hot, hot, hot...crispy...the jerk chicken sandwich I ordered was the best sandwich I've ever eaten..huge piece of flat/grilled chicken I've ever had..peppers/onions/mushrooms/provolone...made to order...avocado..just wonderful!!!!!! The atmosphere is fun...lots of TVs broadcasting the games (I'd only liked to have seen our team..WVU on the big screen...but we understand). The wait staff was attentive...everyone's food at the table looked super..how do you have such a big menu and make everything so well??? Because you are a great pub!!!! We truly enjoyed our 6th trip to Looney's, while visiting family...we always go there! You won't be disappointed!

Looney's has the best pub food in town--great burgers and chicken cheese steak sandwiches. Also, the best french fries. Service varies depending on whether you are there during the day or in the evening.
