We walked the Freedom Trail in the cold rain and still had a blast! It was incredibly interesting and the history was so rich, neighborhoods were beautiful- loved it all!! The trail allowed you to wander around a new city and enjoy the sites without a map or worry of getting lost. I fell in love with Boston on the trail.

If you love history, if you like walking, if you like walking historical cities, you will love this trail. My family had a blast following the painted lines.

This was a reasonably well indicated walk through the centre of Boston and some of it's significant history. While not directly referenced by the trail some of the public sculpture is well worth a look.

I did the Freedom Trail over 3 days and it was full of interesting points of historical interest. The cemeteries were very interesting as was the visit to Paul Revere's house. A must do when in Boston even if you only do a small part. Just follow the red bricks on the pavement.

We walked the Freedom Trail from start to finish on a couple of very cold Boston dyas. It was very easy to follow and well marked. Loads of history all the way!

My only day of sightseeing while in Boston for a conference was freezing and rainy. No matter... Jeremiah's witty humour, excellent delivery of history and engaging crowd antics meant that I was focused on the fun and not the weather! A great tour and highly recommended!!

We didn't do each step of the trail, but hit if off-and-on as we toured the sites we were most interested. However, the trail itself is well marked and enables you to weave around Boston. The trail is 3 miles long, and if you follow it you'll see many of the historical sites you came to Boston to see, as well as get a feel for the flavor of Boston. Make sure to grab lunch or a snack at Fanueil Hall/Quincy Market.

LOVE History?? This is where it all began...walk it alone or do walking tours and just take in all the 'firsts'...great experience! If you like all the details, I would recommend the walking tours instead of the 'app' which gives you less info...Great food spots along the trail as well!
