Nice trails, including a steep run to the summit of the Cat Rock and alongside of the Hobbs Pond. Dogs are abound, but never had an issue with them.

Great place to have a nice short steep hike. There are some streams and big rocks and once on top you have a great view of Downtown Boston. Used to be a small ski area, now just a great place to walk around. Some kids sled down in winter, but it can be dangerous to do with some large rocks and trees around.

Quite a few people walking with their dogs, but there were large parts of the trails were you won't run into people. The greenery is awesome to look at, and the trails are pretty easy to walk on. We did get a little lost, and came out on the other side of the park when we were intending to walk a circle. I agree with other reviewers when they say it a hidden gem, because it is.

This unusual hiking, dog walking, trail biking site has easy access, parking, and is family friendly. It's a decent size hill which was a local rope tow ski site in the days before highways opened up northern skiing resorts. I actually prefer the place on foggy gray days when the skiing relics give a slightly other worldly science fiction feel. Pack a picnic and its a low cost family outing.

This dog park, named for cats, is a tranquil forest of stream, trees, boulders and wildlife.

My wife and I moved to the area and decided to explore around and came across Cat Rock Park. It is a great place to walk around and especially if you have your dog with you. Plenty of people, great walking trails, nice pond and lots of dogs and people having fun. A hidden gem.

We wanted a place for the dog and the grandson to get some exercise. Cat Rock park was perfect. The dogs could run free and there were plenty of other dogs to play with. The grandson found lots to see and explore. We found a partial teepee of sticks and branches as well as a stream and pond. Will definitely return.
