I have toured Wachsett Brewery several times Wednesday and Thursday are the best My favorites are the blueberry, strawberry, and black shack porter, but I haven't had one of their beers that was bad. You start with a sample while listening to the story of how they started. You'll want to take some home, and maybe a t shirt and a tasting glass.

Bought a sample glass for $2 in the waiting room. Nice cheap souvenir. Our tour guide was new and the brewery is getting updated, but the tour was still informative. Go on a Wednesday or Thursday when all the machinery is up and running. Grab a sample or 10 on the way out and buy a six pack or fill a growler to support our local breweries.

So this brewery clearly stays true to their roots and offers a quality tour of their whole production process along with free samples of as many beers as you would like. Bring $2 to get a glass tasting glass that you can bring home. You start with a sample in their waiting area while they explain some history and then get another before you leave on the walking tour. When you finish up you get another, and they seemed quite amenable to letting you try any others you would like at that time as well. Quality operation all around and some pretty good beers even for a wine drinker. Definitely a good time - will not disappoint!

The brewery is next town over from us just off route 2 (watch for signs) and we visit often. We like supporting our local brewery. Nice tour and stories galore. The beer store has lots of t-shirts. Mix up a case or six pack and of course tasting. They give you a good gulp so you can get the taste. They have growers for sale and you can keep refilling. Also gift packs and gift certificates are available too. Friendly people ..good beer..what more could you ask for.

I am a native Central Mass-whole, and every chance that we can (Wife, Daughter, BF, and I) return to the area and stop by for a taste (or 8) and a growler refill--nothing better than fresh beer, nothing against their bottles.

I may not love all of their beer but some are very good; the Larry for instance. The guide told very interesting and entertaining stories about the history of the brewery.

Just a great destination for a rainy afternoon. The tour is informative, and the beer is great. Don't forget to buy a growler or two!

We recently went to the Wachusett Brewery for the brewery tour and sample tasting. It is well worth the trip. The tour is very informative, providing a good history of the brewery, brewing process, and oh yeah, the tasting room is great. For $2 they provide a souvenir glass that is also used for sampling the variety of beers.

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and missed their last brewery tour by 10 minutes, bummer! It wasn't a wasted trip though because we got to taste almost all their beers in the sampling room. The employees are super friendly and a delight to talk to.We ended up buying some beer in the store and drank it when we got home.Next time we'll stop by on a weekday so we can take the tour while the brewery is in action!

What a fun weekend activity! And you get free beer! (If you pay a few $ donation you get a larger cup...my boyfriend obviously did that). The people who work there are very friendly. I will suggest this to anyone who visits the area!

Give each beer a taste before you decide which one to leave with. Tour the brewery and visit the store. They fill your growlers too. It is worth the stop if you like the local brewery taste.

If you are looking for some great local beer you will have found the right place. Wachusett brewery has something for every beer lover. If you are not sure what kind of beer you want. Step into the tasting room have a sample; try them all if you like! I'm sure you will find something that suites your palate. The people are super friendly and you can take a tour to see how beer is made.I have the good fortune of living right down the road from this place. I am always excited to go back to see what is brewing! My favorite is Wachusett Country Ale. The beer here stands up to some of the best beers I have had in Europe and abroad at other micro breweries! Cheers !

Their beer is excellent craft production I love it. Their brewery shop is good for souvenirs and bargains sometimes. Look out for their growlers, truly impressive works of art, that's even before they put the beer in.

Loved tasting all the different beers made by this microbrewery. Tour of the brewery was a bonus. Sorry that we visited late in the day when production was over.
