pierce beach & playground

This is a town owned and operated beach on the Taunton River which was voted as a "Wild and Scenic" river by Congress. Has a nice playground, ball field, walking trail. Snack Bar with hot and cold foods. Outdoor shower, restrooms, lifeguard, barbeque grills and picnic tables.

We visit this park all the time now after discovering it last year. There is a huge slide built into a hill that the kids love. There are also two other play area as and one has kiddie settings. Picnic tables in spring and summer.There is also a marshy beach to explore. Not a good swimming beach. If Simbron ave does not come up with directions use south street. We order Gus's pizza which is tough next to the park and go easy it at the park.
