ward's berry farm

There are great farm fresh vegetables and fruit to choose from at Ward's during the season, but when those aren't available there is plenty to choose from. Try Mrs. Ward's scrumptious pies. If you can get them right out of the oven, that's even better! Her home cooked foods are also very good and taste as if you cooked them yourself. The deli counter carries Boar's Head meats and you can get various flavored smoothies at any time. It's especially nice in the warm weather when there are hay rides and you can self-pick your fruit.

This is a wonderful, friendly family-owned and run farm that offers pick your own strawberries, blueberries and pumpkins, in season. They also offer hay rides, have 4-H animals to feed and observe and have a general store with many varied items for sale. It is a great trip for families and there is also a playground for younger children.
