It was huge and somewhat interesting. I would advise it as a brief stop. It is close to the BEST WESTERN Plus Cold Spring hotel.

It's a must visit in Plymouth. It took us a while to locate the place but so glad that we did visit it.

I was on a day tour with a bunch of teachers (convention in Boston) and this was our last stop. So glad we did. Our bus driver told us that this was done before the Statue of Liberty so one could say it was the model for her... The carvings are gorgeous and it was moving to be here. Our driver also told us that you used to be able to see this from the harbor but now there are buildings in the way and fewer people are aware of it. A shame; well worth a visit, especially on a gorgeous day like we had (although the sun was placed in such a way that picture taking was difficult; we were there in the afternoon).

This is a hidden jewel in Plymouth! If your visiting Plymouth you don't want to miss this one. Unfortunately, there are even locals who don't know of this special place.

This is the best kept secret in Plymouth!Slightly smaller version of the Statue of Liberty!Tucked away on a side street-worth seeking out!

The monument is very detailed and thought provoking. The statues show details of who the pilgrims were and why they made the trek to the new world. I would advise that you find some documentation about the statues as this will give you a better idea of the details of each statue. The monument could use a little TLC, but is a great historical reminder of what the Pilgrims were all about.

Off the beaten track yet still a good walk from downtown Plymouth waterfront. You do not want to miss the architectural and historical beauty - you will be awestruck at the size and story it tell..Bring a picnic lunch as there is plenty of space to settle down around the monument and enjoy the sun while admiring the extraordinary beauty of the monument.

The monument is impressive, being some 81 feet tall. Being a Tilley it was nice to see their name son one of the panels.

The size of the monument catches you by surprise. If you haven't read much about it before you drive/walk up - be prepared to be amazed. The Monument is away from downtown and doesn't get the foot traffic the Mayflower does. Be sure to find the Monument and spend some quiet time there. You'll be glad you did.

Unless you're told about this monument, you probably wone't find it. It's on a hill top in a residential area, with just a few signs directing you to it. It's a solid piece of granite, nearly ninety feet high, executed in the mid-nineteenth century. Spend twenty minutes reading all of the inscriptions on the pedestal, you'll be moved!

This monument is more important than many people typically recognize. It is thought to be the world's largest solid granite monument, and is the third-tallest statue in the United States. In 2012, Kirk Cameron released the movie Monumental which features the monument and Cameron's interpretation of its history and the values of those it commemorates.

Impressive granite statute. An excellent photo opt. This is a nice tribute to our founding fathers. We took our pics from the car.

We were surprised to find a very heavy Greek and Roman influence in this monument. The reliefs on the four corners are very well done.

This is a beautiful munument and I just love taking our bus group there. Our group took lots of pictures and I think it's a honor to the strength of women. You need a little longer to read all the monument said and to enjoy the beautiful architect.
