On our way to Vicksburg we stopped at the nature center to stretch our legs. This was a nice surprise and a great walk along the bayou. The nature center is very informative and is fun for families of all ages. While small they have some wonderful animal displays. When we was there, the aquarium tanks needed to be cleaned or I would have rated this a five.

Excellent place for a first time date if you're a country boy or girl. Lots of attractive native animals of Arkansas to see & visit, & if you're taking the kids, they'll definitely want to come back!

Delta Rivers Nature Center is a great visit especailly if you have younger kids. Lots to see and do and the gift shop is nice too. However, if you have been twice and your kids are 10 or older then it's just the same thing just about everytime you go and the kids get bored with it quickly. Wish they would add things or have more special events or something. It could be so much more.

Though clearly directed towards children and young adults, the displays, some of them interactive/semi-interactive, (you can sit in a fake boat and put on a life jacket and there are workable controls, for example) are pretty interesting. The staff were quite friendly, saying hello as soon as I stepped in, and so forth. Plus the gentleman at the gift shop actually gave me a free fridge magnet when I asked about where they were in the store (I collect them!) which I wasn't expecting. Afterwards you can take a really nice hike through the lush forest and do quite a bit of walking along trails. Worth visiting.

The Delta Rivers Nature Center is one of the nicest places to visit in Pine Bluff. The facility has lots of interactive displays that are both entertaining and educational. They also have quite a few live animals onsite including bald eagles, snakes, and an alligator. There are lots of nature trails so you can take a relaxing stroll and enjoy nature. The staff is very helpful and can arrange for activities for children's groups if you call ahead.

watching the inhabitants of magical underwater worlds. Interactive displays, gigantic aquariums and special exhibits will take you on an unforgettable journey through time and will let you meet the inhabitants of the unique Delta region. The Center also includes nature trails, wildflower areas and a wildlife observatory. Programs, classes, meetings and laboratory facilities are also available. Admission is free and is very close from La Quinta Inn Hotel in Pine Bluff Arkansas.

Delta Rivers Nature Center is located within the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Regional Park. It was the first of five centers and has been open for about the last 10 years. Recently the exhibits were changed and a few renovations were made. Inside you can see a large tank displaying an array of fish found in Arkansas. There is a large fish pond in front of the building where you can feed the fish. The museum caters mostly to sportmen, but all can enjoy the exhibits. There is a elevated wooden walkway behind the center for those who want to witness wildlife first hand and is most enjoyable. Every Halloween there is "Boo on the Bayou," where kids can get candy at stations along the trail and visit different venues in the parking lot. This Center is closed on Mondays.

We visited the Nature Center while visiting family for Christmas. The center is very nice and has a lot of good exhibits to keep kids entertained. My daughter enjoyed the fish and the bald eagles. Would definitely visit again.

The nature center was lots of fun. Although it was densley populated on our first visit, it was perfect for my pre-schooler and toddler to view exhibits closely. They enjoyed the fish feeding at 11am on weekdays and 3pm on weekends. The hands on laboratory area was a blast and very interesting. Their favorite is the baby crocodile tank and the gift shop. To end such a wonderful visit, you can purchase fish feed and feed the fish outdoors in the pond areas.
