This is a jewel of Malvern. It is the oldest theatre in the state playing first-run movies. Marla & Marty Nix have lovingly restored this theatre and they usually play a child/family friendly movie and a date-night type movie. The popcorn is so good that locals often come in just for the popcorn. Check out the old-fashioned "cry room" for children and babies that are a little restless during the movies. They can still watch the movie through a glass window.

The owners are great and friendly. There are two screens and one even has an old cry room for small children to be taken while they are upset and mom or dad don't have to miss the show. Snacks are about the same cost or slightly lower than most other theatres in the area. During the summer they often show free childrens movies one day a week.

I like this little place. Its easy to get to. You dont have to fight trafic. Its quiet. Good family owned biz
