My favorite part of these caverns is how close you get to the beauty. You are not allowed to touch, but you are able to get close and appreciate it all. Other caverns keep you so far away. We visited both caverns and liked them both. The tour guides are great and you can tell they are passionate about the caverns. There are stairs and you should wear tennis shoes. No flip flops.

We really enjoyed our visit to the cavern. It's not the biggest we've seen but certainly has beautiful and very interesting formations. The drive up is of course on scenic hwy 7 so that in itself is worth the trip. The guide we had was very friendly we would recommend a stop at mystic caverns and also the other cavern on the property .

Not to far off the road on the way north to Branson, Mo this gem sits waiting for you to take a break and discover the underground caves and its formations. Discovered before the 1920's it has served many purposes to include a dance floor and a still. Early Indians used the calcium carbonate for medicinal purposes. Now it is privately owned and well maintained. Two tours are offered-one slightly more strenuous than the other. I took the lesser one and was very happy. There were families with 2 year old twins also on the tour. It was a great and entertaining break from our long drive.

Nice to visit a cavern where you can enjoy the beauty of creation without the standard "billions of years" speech. Highly recommend. Thanks Steve for a great tour.

Our family took both tours and we all enjoyed our visit. The history of the dance floor and the moonshine still in the cavern was very interesting. Both guides were super friendly, informative and seemed to enjoy their job, which is not always the case at these smaller attractions. The free bottled water was greatly appreciated! They have a small gift shop which the grandkids enjoyed exploring.

Our family visited Mystic Caverns and decided to tour just the one "Crystal Dome" since we had our almost 2 yr old grandson with us :). We all thought it was neat, beautiful and really easy to get around in. If you have any trouble with claustrophobia, don't worry, you will not have any trouble in this one. The tour guide was an older gentleman, who was really pretty entertaining and informative. He explained how the crystal dome was found, (when a dozer was digging for dirt for Dogpatch USA, they unearthed a sinkhole). Pretty cool, too bad Dogpatch has been closed now since 1993. We have all been there and to see it now in ruin, just makes you sad. Anyway, back to the cave. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because my family all thought that the older gentleman (tour guide) was a little strange in telling us not to visit the Hurricane River Cave on Hwy 65 due to someone there doing improper things to children. Don't get me wrong, glad to have the info, just was a bit strange in starting out the tour that way. I think he was only trying to be helpful though and we all really enjoyed this cave. Visited the gift shop and got a few inexpensive souvenirs. Once outside again, waiting on everyone to finish shopping, we enjoyed sitting in the shaded grounds out front which were immaculate and pretty.

On a recent motorcycle trip to the Ozarks, it was hot and humid. My husband and I stopped to see the cavern, more to beat the heat. We were amazed! There are two caverns, so we toured both. Although these show caves are small, each contains a major showpiece calcite formation. Wonderful! The tour guides were great. Well worth the stop!

If you are going to drive to Harrison for the Mystic Caverns make sure you do both caverns. It is really worth the money (which isn't a lot for 2 caverns). It was a great tour and it lasted about an hour and a half. Loved It and I think you will also.

What a wonderful cave to visit. It is truly amazing what you will see. We loved it. Our guides were wonderful. They really tell you everything you want to know about the cave. This should be on your list of places to see.

We have been to several caves in the US and this one is really nice. There are 2 caves on the property and both are different. Joey the guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable.

Like to come here to see the caverns, it gets pretty cool but still fun to walk through with the family. The guides are very informative and its very easy to walk through
