The Botanical Gardens is a weekly visit for me. I like to ride the bike path over and stop and relax in the beautiful surroundings. They have done a great job with the gardens, and it's especially lovely in the spring. Definitely one of the nicer botanical gardens I've visited.

I am a master gardener and found the Botanical Gardens to be beautiful. It is really in it infancy but getting better all the time. It is a very nice stop for someone interested in gardening/

My wife and I are wedding photographers, and we shot the first wedding held at the BGO when it was just getting started and there was a walkway and a few plants in the ground. Last week we shot a bridal portrait for a beautiful young woman who will be married there next month. The Gardens have matured beautifully! It is a pleasure to stroll through and see the great variety and wonderful colors in a very pleasing site. Well worth the visit for an afternoon's solace and refreshment!

After being in the car for 3 days looking for a house, this was nice to find somewhere to walk around and stretch our legs. The flowers are beautiful and the butterflies were everywhere! There is a rooster and hen house on the grounds and a vegetable garden. There are picnic tables to have lunch or sit in the shade. It is still small, but the lady I spoke with said they were expanding and making improvements. There is also a nature trail that goes around the gardens, but we didn't do that due to how humid and hot it was that day. People were walking, jogging and riding their bikes on the trail. Popular place.

We had a hard time finding the gardens. We called several times and they couldn't give us very good directions when we were just a block away. Once we got there it was so small and not much there. They charge a lot of money to get in and it would have taken us about 5 mins or less to walk thru. They need a lot of work to build the place up before thy charge anything. Not worth your time to find it!

If you are a plant person, this is the place for you! There is a section with native plants, and many beautiful gardens with more generic plants. The children's garden is delightful. There are other small gardens which are quite lovely; fun to sit in them and contemplate. They close the gates at 5. They really do! We got to the gates about 2 minutes late and couldn't get out! We had to go to the side where my friend vaulted the fence and I managed to pull myself through a smallish opening. There is probably a different escape path but we were ready to leave (and truthfully, it was sort of fun). Admission was $7.

This was the most beautiful place I think I have ever seen. Arkansas has the most gorgeous flowers ever. I came home wanting to plant a succulent garden. I hope to go back again.

My wife and I spent part of an afternoon at the Garden. It's fairly new and it shows. They do have some really pretty grounds, but could use some docents walking the grounds who could talk about local flora. We'll probably give it a second try on a return trip.

A nice garden with a lot of different types of flowers in a nice setting. A nice peaceful place to spend some time on a nice day. Was a little to warm for me to spend a long time here but I def enjoyed the visit.

The gardens are well cared for and the variety of flowers and way they're displayed is attractive. There are several other landscaped parks within northwest Arkansas that are FREE, however, and just as pretty as this one which costs. This park is north of Fayetteville, not in town.

The volunteer staff was very gracious and kind. The gardeners preparing for an even the evening to follow our visit went out of their way to make sure we knew of a harmless black snake that was slumbering near an entrance to one of the gardens. We were lucky to arrive early in the day before the heat had set in.

This is just the right size for a botanical garden, not overwhelming. There are 12 themed gardens (child's, shade, native, rose, Japanese, etc.) - each with its own personality, and a butterfly house ("The Only One in Arkansas"). Plenty of places to just sit and enjoy the color.

Very nice gardens, nice place to stroll and nice place to find a bench and sit. Lots of activities, especially for kids. I only wish they were open later in the evening during the summer.

This is such a nice place to sit or walk around and enjoy for a few hours. It's peaceful and beautiful and has interesting plants and flowers. I don't recommend it for late summer if we've had a hotter than average summer because things can get a little scorched, but it is usually quite colorful and nice. Great parking. Great accessibility.
