We have tried a couple times, the meals are way over priced and not very good portions. The last time we went a friend got a baked halibut and later that night was extremely sick and lost it all and has no desire to EVER eat there again.

Ate here twice because between the beer, the friendly staff and the well priced and tasty food we were very impressed. The mash as a side was yummy on its own and there is a wide variety of different foods to choose. My favourite was the ribs I had. Even has a gift shop to take home a memento of seeing the most northern brewery!

This brewery and restaurant a few miles north of Fairbanks is a surprising find. As others have noted, it is the furthest north brewery in North America, and it is said that the beer is very good. But we are praising its food and service: the pear and Gorgonzola pizza was excellent, as was the pulled pork sandwich. We found no better place to eat in Fairbanks, and recommend taking the drive out to eat good food in a pleasant setting, served by cheerful wait-staff.

I didn't try the crab legs, but will on next visit. The selection of craft brews was very good and the brews were tasty.

We ate at the Gulch mid afternoon on a Sunday so we had no wait time. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere which is kind of cool...at the corner of the Steese Hwy. and the Old Steese Hwy. I had the Stout BBQ Breakfast Burger as featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. It was very good, and kind of fun since it had been featured on TV. My husband had the Grilled Portobella Burger with a beef burger(the mushroom is the burger, you can add beef burger to it). It was also very good. We each had a blonde beer and it too was good. It is only a few miles away from the Alyeska Visitor Center for the Alaskan Pipeline(to the south on the Steese Hwy.) so a great place to eat while checking out the pipeline.

Very good beer- the furthest brewery in North America!!! You have to get a T shirt when your there! Great area for hitting 2 or 3 places

This landmark restaurant is the furthest North brewery in the United States. Food is prepared with the finest and freshest ingredients. The bar features their own brews, but also carries a fine variety of other breweries beers. Cleanand cozy establishment with attentive staff. Visit the gift shop and scoop a souvenir!

My husband and I have been on many brewery tours. We called ahead and had a very personalized tour. The brewery used to make jellies or something before they converted it. They have some really neat things. Very interesting if visiting Fairbanks.

Great Food, great beer, great service. Wear your Wellingtons when raining. Mucky parking lot. Great staff working there. Watched while they professionally handled some whiney guests. Went back again, on a dry day. Thanks for the awesome salmon.

Great food, ingredients were fresh. Great selection of beers both brewed on-site and domestic. They were having trouble with their walk-in fridge so there were items unavailable, but we were told upon arrival and the entrees we got were great. Service is mediocre. Our server was nice and knowledgeable about the menu, but it took 20 minutes for us to even place our drink order from the time we were seated.

I live near the Gulch and have had several dinners there. The Gulch produces a variety of beers, all of which are pretty darn good. Also, unlike a lot of small brewery-restaraunts, they serve several beers from other producers, both foreign and domestic. However, the restaraunt is inconsistent in both food quality and service. Some nights the food and service are great, yet other nights both are mediocre at best. If you are with a large group, expect slow service. There seems to be a lot of turnover in the wait staff. However, the Bread Pudding is a must have desert... Rich, Sweet, and usually is a portion that two can enjoy. However, I am selfish. The Blu Cheese Buffalo Burger is also good. If you go on a Friday or Saturday evening I suggest reservations, or be prepared for a long wait. The gift shop has some cool stuff ans is where you can also pick up some beer to go.

10 coworkers from the 48. No food less than 3. Several at 5. Beers all 5s. Atmosphere and service 4 to 5. 4 overall.

Perfect eggs Benedict leaves the egg white firm but the yoke richly warm gravy-like. Cooks' go-to is poached egg which is drier than a popcorn fart and then HUGE delay when asked to redo it with a properly poached egg. Very sad - used to love the French quarter eggs Benedict - it's now a dry mess

Great place to grab a brewery tour and a beer. Was a great stop on the drive to the Arctic circle. The beer was tasty and a bit expensive, but most things in Alaska are. Yet it was still worth it! The food was ok as we had a pizza and a burger.

Pleasant atmosphere and a great pizza but SUPER slow. Kind of expensive for what it was. Not sure if we would go back...maybe
