    Susan Bryan, et al should be ashamed of themselves to call this a casino. It's more of a bank you go to deposit your money and then get held up by a robber. Most casinos are enjoyable in that you can play, go up and down in money and overall you might lose a little cash. Here it's mostly down and down and you always leave with most, if not all of your money in their machines. Horrible excuse for a casino.

Every time we come it gets better and Better!!It really great to be able to have fun and all the Worker from housekeeping to front desk are so professional!!!!My Friends had a ball and it really made an difference when you walk around and the staff remembers your name!!Danny Thomas! Ms. Peterson! Melinda! Miriana! Katlin! Karen And Michael you all are the best!! My friends were so impressed they can't wait to make reservations and stay a few days!!!I can't say it enough!!     This place was big, and got very crowded later in evening. It was a Saturday night though. Lots of cigarette ashes on machines. Why are smokers so rude? They just let ashes fall all over the place. Ashtrays are provided but weren't cleaned out very much.

    I hate this place nothing but a ripp off. They don't have a gaming commission orAnything to go by.I personally will never go back and recommend everyone elseto stay away from places like this. Not even a casino to start with ,nothing but abingo make believe casino. Ripp off city.

    To the average person, a stay at the hotel may seem flawless, but because I’ve been in the hospitality industry for over 10 years I have noticed things that most people might overlook. Then again I think a lot of people would have the same opinion or thought that I’m about to give.I originally had a one night stay, then extended and made it a two night stay. Our front desk agent Tishonda was very welcoming, she has an excellent personality fit for guest services. As we were checking in she offered us a small bag of assorted soaps (a mix of body wash, face exfoliant, lotion, shampoo and conditioner). I thought this was a nice touch, because naturally I assumed that the bag was an additional gift of items. It was the only body wash or soap that would be available. When we got up to the room, at first glance, the room was very nice. I put my bags down to check out the rest of the room. I found in the bathroom, that the trash can was used. It had trash from the previous persons stay in it and was not emptied. While in the bathroom I saw what had to be a brown spot on the toilet that the housekeeping missed cleaning.When I looked in the bathroom I noticed that aside from the nice fixtures, I saw there was no soap or body wash anywhere in the bathroom. Most hotels have soap and enough of it for guests to use. Unfortunately all we had in the bathroom were towels (So as a side note, if you are considering staying there then you may want to bring your own soap). We went back down to the front desk hours later and asked the gentleman working behind the desk about getting some more. He did let us know that the charge $3 extra per additional bag of soap (Because according to them, that little travel size of body wash is supposed to last both of our nights and is really only enough to take a piece of a shower, not even enough for a full shower). Anyway the desk agent gave us (two people) only one additional bag. So rather than push the issue, we went to go and take some pictures around the place.The front desk agent told us that we could go out back to the pool doors (next to “Fire” Steakhouse). There was no signage letting us know the pool had certain hours, but since it was light up outside it seemed inviting, so we went out there just to take pictures of the pool at night (and not go swimming). A few minutes into us being outside a security guard came out of the high limits room and told us to leave and we aren’t supposed to be out here. I told the security guard I needed to ask him something, but he just waved us off like he was disgusted with us or something. I was going to ask him how were we to know the hours that we could be out there. Simply because there was no signage about the pool area hours or anything. Plus you mean to tell me that you spend all of this energy lighting up the pool and cabanas, and walkways/steps. So with everything being lit up, we cannot go and take pictures? I could see if you said that for regular casino guests, but since we were hotel guests, we should have had access to the pool or at least be told pool hours. Like I was going to tell the guard before he walked off, I was not going swimming (too cold anyway), just taking pictures of the buildings and pool area.We headed back upstairs to put some items down before we went to go play some games. It was normal as usual downstairs, the only issue I had is something that constantly goes on at both northern properties at Wind Creek Wetumpka (WCW) and Creek Casino Montgomery (CCM). The waiters/waitresses delivering drinks takes so long. Usually I order a milkshake, but by the time the screen says the bartender has finished it, the drink sits there and begins to melt, waiting for a waiter to deliver it. By the time I would get that milkshake it is melted down to the extreme. I hate having a melted drink that is filled past the rim spilling over. I see the waiters/waitresses have to walk carefully not to spill it, just like we they hand it to me I then have to be very careful not to spill it. There have been times when I have gotten the milkshake right away and it was spot on at WCW, not CCM (it needs a little more work), but I digress.We used some food credits we had to get some food and took it back up to the room. I found where the fridge was but I wanted to heat some food back up. I looked all over the room for a microwave, but I did not see one. So with there being no microwave, I called downstairs twice to find out if there was supposed to be one in my room, or if there was somewhere I could heat it back up. No one answered the phone at the front desk. I was starting to realize that there were problems developing with my stay here. I mean even a 1 diamond rated Best Western has a microwave in the room, and this place has 4 diamonds, so why do they have that rating if they don’t even have the simplest amenities such as soap in the bathroom or a microwave. Am I supposed to just eat cold food when I get hungry or order off of that very overpriced room service menu.I then decided to watch TV, and let me tell you, that remote and custom channel guide they have at WCW in the room are a mess. The channel guide does not show you what’s on TV, It just says channel unavailable. I had to use my TV Guide app on my phone to find out what was on TV. Using my app and having to go to the channel guide back and forth was not my idea of relaxation. I also needed to plug up my computer and the only charger near the desk was at the opposite end of the table. I will have pictures attached.I saw a plant sitting near the window that was half dead, I was going to take a picture of the half dead plants to show in my review, but as I was turning the plant around, I found 2 dirty, rusty hair pins, and a cheap gumball machine ring (you know the one that comes in that little plastic ball). I could tell that housekeeping was just lazy and just turned the pot around so no one could see it. I mean why not just pick them out.Later that night I decided to take a shower with my complimentary bag of travel sized soap. The bathroom is fantastic by the way, with a very spacious shower. However, as I was getting ready to turn on the shower I noticed strands of hair on the wall halfway down the wall under the shower head. After I took pictures of this as well I had to make sure I didn’t get near it when I was taking a shower, cause I didn’t want those hair strands to fall on the floor while I taking a shower.After the shower we watched more TV, but ended up just watching movies on our laptop, because I did not want to pay to watch those movies on the TV. We had a smoking double room, and the reason I say that is because I noticed while lying in the bed that there were to spots of what seemed like blood stains. After that we switched to the other bed. It was just a mess that housekeeping put blood stained sheets on the bed.The next morning we got housekeeping to come by the room, we asked them for more body wash and shampoo because we had another night stay. They told us they aren’t allowed to carry those items on their carts, and that we would have to go all the way down to the front desk just to ask for more soaps. Which again they told us would cost $3 per little baggie. After housekeeping left, I went to go and take a look out the window which was a good view of the river and the pool area (that we were kicked out of last night). In the corners of the window were 8 lady bugs! count ‘em 8!!! Since we were going to the store that morning we stopped by the front desk and asked the agent for more soaps. We were told that it was $3 but since we didn’t know we were given them for free. I also asked about moving to a different room. I brought them the comment card I had and also mentioned the lady bugs. The agent responded that those bugs in the room were normal. (I stay 30 minutes down the road and don’t have issues with this.) I asked how they were getting in the hotel tower which is still a new building, a little over a year old. The agent didn’t know, and told us to check back by the desk or she would give me a call when something else opened up.Since I have over 10 years in the hospitality industry I am very understanding about not having a room ready, and how some aspects of the hotel operate. So I told the agent that if no other room was available then I understood. After we got back from the store, we went to go a play some free play that we had. We ordered milkshakes this time and it was pretty good, unlike my review in the earlier paragraph. When we were done in the casino we were headed back up to the room, but we stopped by the front desk to ask about us switching rooms. Luckily, there was one available. We got our bags out of the first room and went down a few floors to the other room.After we got back from the store, we went to go and play some free play that we had. We ordered milkshakes this time and it was pretty good, unlike my review in the earlier paragraph. When we were done in the casino we were headed back up to the room, but we stopped by the front desk to ask about us switching rooms. Luckily, there was one available. Then I checked the shower to see if there was any hair in it. I checked the toilet to see if there were and missed stains on it, and made sure the trash was empty. I also checked the window to see if there were any lady bugs. To my displeasure there were one or two that we found flying around the room.We went back down stairs to play some more, but the milkshakes were a huge miss again. This time it wasn’t just milkshakes because I ordered a monster drink, a simple can drink. It took over 30-45 minutes for it to come, and a waitress walked by and told us they were going slow because the was a drawing going on and since everyone was at the bar they were backed up. Ok here is some free advice, if you know every time that more people are going to be at the bar when there is a drawing or event going on, then put more people on the schedule just for those few hours. Make one bartender solely dedicated to orders coming from the floor and put more waiters/waitresses on schedule as well to get drinks out within a certain timeframe.One thing that happens is that when you are done playing on a machine and are still waiting for a drink the card will time out of the machine and that cause the player to re-insert their card, which messes up the wait staff, of letting them know where the drinks need to go. Finally we got our drinks after 45 minutes as previously stated. We went back up to the room and watched some movies and TV shows on our laptop, because of the issues as previously mentioned.The next morning was check out time. It was around 11am when we got a knock on the door, I opened the door and the housekeeper looked pretty tired. She asked me in a rude way, do we have a late checkout. I was confused at first because in the business we either say, would you like a late checkout or we would tell the guest how late we can give them to checkout. Before I could even answer the housekeeper, she walked off from me while rolling her eyes. So we continued getting ready and packing. Then 5 minutes later, I got a call from the front desk about when we were leaving (so they can call me but when I need to call them, no one picks up). I told her on the phone that I was about to tell the housekeeper but she walked off from me. The agent on the phone gave us until 12pm to leave. We were already packed and ready to go, and left at 11:45am.These two nights/three days I have spent at Wind Creek Wetumpka, have been overall a substandard visit. If it wasn’t for one of my friends using some of her free night hotel stays, then I would not pay my own money to stay here. I don’t think I would stay here again. EVERI don’t really think it earns 4 diamonds, so I give my own grade of “C-” to the hotel management. They have operated this hotel very poorly, and just mask all of the problems with all of the fancy decor of the room, which is why most people might not have found those issues like we had during our stay.     Very clean and new feeling to the place. The biggest complaint is the smoke. Smoke everywhere. There is a small non-smoking slot room, but it is always packed. The large aquarium around the bar is very nice. It took much too long for drinks to arrive.

    I drove over for a few hours last Saturday and did not stay in the hotel. Everything was neat ana clean. It seems that the speed of cocktail service has improved, selection has increased, and servers were friendly. The lines were never too long for the ticket redemption machines, but I didn't need to use the club so I don't know about that line. I played for about eight hours and walked out with a little extra money, so I was happy. The valet service was very efficient on such a busy evening, too. If I had one complaint, it would probably be the organization of the types of machines. It drives me nuts when I'm looking for a particular machine and they aren't all grouped together. It's odd that they have banks and banks of the same types all together in some places, and yet in other places, they seem to be dispersed randomly throughout all the machines. It makes it difficult to remember exactly where I was playing if I wanted to come back to a certain machine. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience.

    We drove down from Birmingham for a few hours of casino fun. We didn't eat at the casino or stay at the hotel but the casino was clean, the service was pretty good. You can order drinks from your slot machine which is convenient but it makes me sit there and spend more money waiting on the server which isn't necessarily a good thing! HahaWaiting to get a club card was about a 20 minute wait. The line was pretty long. I wished this casino played music though. They always play the same song over and over when someone hits a jackpot. We probably won't stay at the casino overnight because there aren't any table games where the money can last longer, typically. Overall, nice day trip. We pretty much broke even. My best win was $350 on the diamond game!

    This is a really fun place even though not a lot of money was won but it is very relaxing and clean. We also went to the one in Montgomery and stayed about 10 minutes and left. People were rude there and just did not feel comfortable.

    We went to the casino on a Friday night and had a blast. We hit a football progressive touchdown...500 on a 90cent bet! Good machines and good service.

    The hotel is great,the line at the grill is always super long.they have lots of different slots to choose from live entertainment and certain days have free giveaways.But only take what you can afford to loose playing the slots.They are very tight and extremely hard to win if you bet max or close to it.So if you go don't expect to win just enjoy the entertainment.They give you very little or no free play.I got my win and lose statement and I couldn't believe I lost over $6300 for the year and never once hit a jackpot. PS I always play max.
