We loved the huge store and my son loved the fish and "stuffed" animals. He also loved identifying which animals made the tracks on the floor. It is certainly an interesting place. We bought a lot of hunting clothes on clearance for next year and a couple of pairs of boots. Most everything is very expensive, so the clearance and sale items it about all we shopped. We were really there for a turkey call, and my husband settled for one he wasn't thrilled with because the turkey hunting selection wasn't what you would expect at such a huge store. I browsed the women's clothing, but quickly realized I didn't like any of it. It isn't very stylish, honestly. In conclusion, if you are looking for hunting clothing, they have great stuff, and, if it is on clearance or you are wealthy, you can afford it. But I still say "very good" because it is fun to visit.

I went to the restaurant in the store a couple of weeks ago and had one of the best bowls of clam chowder I've ever had. We were nearby the other day and stopped in again. This time it looked like they took a glob out of the refrigerator and nuked it. It was too thick and pasty. I was grateful no one else ordered the soup

Found this Bass Pro to be very much the same as all other Bass Pro shops we have visited. Still found it to be very fun place to walk around and shop and look at the fish in the big aquarium. One thing I was very surprised about was I was searching for a wide brim rain hat and when I could find any I asked and was told they did not carry any. Seemed strange for an outdoor sports oriented store not to carry rain hats while they did carry various rain suits.

No place better to knock out Christmas shopping, stuff for all ages. This has to be one of the best bass pro shops I have been too

The service was awful! We were the only people there and it took forever to get our food. The girl waiting on us was so rude, never smiled and to top it off when we asked for a manager Emmit was even worse!!! Take my word, do not waste your time or money here!!!

Visited on my way home from Mississippi and was impressed with how friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable the staff was.

We took the family here because we were staying at a hotel across the interstate. It was surprisingly cool! There were several picture opportunities for the kids.

Lots to see as well as shop.....this store has a waterfall and several cool displays. Our guys love to make this stop on the way to the beach each year. Also, the seafood restaurant was excellent with great service.

I was looking for some inexpensive clothes and insect repellent and was able to find both. The staff was quite helpful.

A little pricey for us. We enjoy looking at the fish and the waterfall. Beautiful scenery walking up the back stairs. Upstairs looking down is also a nice scenery.

My husband and I stopped today at the Bass Pro Shop in Spanish Fort, AL, for some Christmas shopping. After finding what we were looking for, we caught a whiff of coffee coming from the "General Store" near the entrance. I decided to get us some coffee while my husband got in line to pay for our purchases. There was a young man behind the counter in the General Store cleaning his shoes (should have been a sign!) so I asked him for a cup of coffee. He informed me that he didn't work in that department so I would have to wait for someone who did. Just a minute later a girl and guy came into the area and started looking under the cabinets for something. I said, "Excuse me, could I get a cup of coffee?" The girl turned around and said tersely, "I don't have any coffee". That was hard to believe with the wonderful aroma coming from the area, but she didn't offer to make any, so I left. As I was leaving the guy behind me at the counter asked if she was going to make any and she said, "well, I have some decaf"! Hello, is that not coffee?? But I didn't go back, being thoroughly disgusted with her "don't bother me" attitude. I was telling my husband about my experience as we were leaving the store (it had taken him that long to check out) and he commented that they must not stress customer service because the whole time he was waiting in line there was a girl at the next counter standing there talking to her friend and not waiting on customers. He didn't notice that she has on a Bassro shirt, but just as he was getting up to his register someone asked her if her register was open ---and it WAS! She had let all those folks wait in line without once offering to help someone! Then, as my husband was walking away the lady who had waited on him said "happy holidays"! That was the final straw"! It's Christmas so acknowledge it with a "Merry Christmas". That was strike 3 for this store so I decided to write a review! I guess it was really strike 4 if you count the guy cleaning his shoes in a food service area!

I go all the time just to browse, but all in all they lack in quality. Have eaten at the restaurant several times, but will not go back. Often they will have excellent entrees, but there will be something not fresh, the last visit with my sister we had sandwiches, however, the fries accompanying our sandwiches were soaked with grease and completely inedible. My last visit really disappointed me, the cashier would not take my bank card just because it was old, she didn't ask if I had another card or cash, I just left, it irritates me that she did not take the time to enter the card manually.Their prices on everything is way too much, its better to buy online and get stuff shipped than to pay the markup here.

The Bass Pro Shop in Spanish Fort, AL has a wonderful restaurant. This was a huge surprise to my wife and I. Since we discovered it we go every time we are near Mobile. The store has anything for the outdoors you could wish for from Clothes, bows, boats, four wheelers, to outdoor toilets and everything in between. It also has a great selection of old fashioned candies from our youth that are hard to find now.The most surprising thing in this Bass Pro is it's restaurant. The bread is absolutely wonderful, the wine is served in generous pours, and the food is excellent. I recommend the grilled Mahi Mahi. It is without a doubt the best I have ever had.The atmosphere is very good from the roaring fire in the winter to the assortment of antique fishing paraphernalia every where in the room including the light fixtures. Another surprise is the enormous salt water aquarium separating the restaurant from the bar area.It is the only place I've ever been that sells liquor, beer, and fire arms. God bless Alabama.

Wonderful store if you're looking for anything having to do with sports or the outdoors. Good selection of sporting goods, sportswear, camping, hunting, fishing, boating...it's all here.. The location in Spanish Fort has a restaurant as well. Love shopping at Bass Pro Shops!
