Not sure why this office is needed in city this size. Lovely old building would be easy to miss. Nice helpful staff. Great places to see like Cooks Museum, Wheeler Wildlife Refuge, Point Mallard, Old State Bank, etc

Large facility and well maintained. Large dance floor, maybe the biggest I have ever seen in a hall or convention type center. 300 seated and none on the dance floor. Easily all could have been dancing. Staff was available and helpful but only to the limit of their policies. Location is excellent for the area of Mt. Zion and East Decatur.

Regardless of the info you are looking for, the staff at the Decatur CVB will be happy to assist you. You will experience laughter and knowledge when you walk in the door.

Sign was relatively small and in drab colors even though it was in front. I drove by it 2 times. It was in an old house which was really interesting to go in. Lady was very helpful. If you go, look for a 2 story yellow house on the East side of the street, on a corner with parking in the back.

I can't really see the need for a visitors bureau. Convention maybe. But seriously, visit Decatur? Tourism? I have lived here all my life and it's always been when looking for something to see or do you just go somewhere else. Decatur is not at all a place to visit.

Good place to get information about what's going on in town. They are involved in what is going on and contribute to the local events. A big help with advertisers for local affairs.
