This small museum is located in Gretna’s historic district but covers the progress of German immigrants, and the influence of German culture, on the entire region. The exhibits start with the arrival of immigrants to the German coast in 1721 to the present day. You can follow a timeline of German influence in the region and the section on the periods between the two world wars is especially interesting.
