This is one of those places where abused animals can live out their lives peacefully, getting good food and care. It is not a zoo. Visitors are welcomed at limited times. We visit now and then when we need a "day in the country" field trip, and often combine it with birdwatching and berry-picking. It's in a rural area south of Shreveport. A small donation is asked for; hey, dig deep! These folks do a lot with very little.

Yogi & Friends is open to the public on Saturday's only from 10am to 5pm. The co-owner was so friendly and helpful in providing information on the cats living at the sancturary. Although it really isn't much to look at from the exterior (we actually drove right past it) this really is a must see attraction while visiting Shreveport/Bossier City!
