chemin-a-haut state park

I've been here several times and I've always been able to unwind just walking down the nature trails. I haven't stayed at their new cabins, but they really look nice! I'll have to make reservations at a cabin for a weekend of fun with the family. They've got a swimming pool during the summer with lots of places to play softball etc.. It's also a great place for family reunions. They've got some pretty big places just for that purpose. Look them up it's worth it!!! They also have hookups for campers etc...

This is the third time we've camped in this park over Labor Day Weekend. As usual, the park was clean and well taken care of. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Our hike around the park and bayou were absolutely wonderful. A BIG Thank You to Steve for taking us out, showing us the trails and the amazing cypress trees!!!!

Nice place to camp and fish. Cabins are plush. Has a pool, too. Lots of animal life and forest, not to mention the bayous. We had fun here.

This property has wonderful accommodations from small cabins that accommodate 6 to 8 people up to a lodge that can hold 22. There is a lake with great fishing, a playground, hiking, biking, equestrian & nature.We had a wedding with reception in the lodge and it couldn't have turned out better. Thank you for the hospitality and making this day great for the entire family.
