We were in that area on a motorcycle trip. Great riding roads but no radio or phone reception for miles. The National Radio Astronomy Laboratory is in Green Bank and there is very little to no communications around the area. Beautiful place to ride though....can't wait to go back!

The fall colors within this park were spectacular! We loved winding slowly to the lookout post at the top and then around the charming lake by which many fishers were awaiting their catch. We visited on a rainy day, so we did not hike, but hope to on another visit.

Not for everyone, but one of the most relaxing stays you will ever have. Primitive Cabins (Propane Refrigerator and lights, wood stove, no electricity, modern outhouse). Seneca borders the beautiful Greenbrier River in Pocahontas County. Charming wooden cabin, plenty of supplied firewood, very friendly staff. No electricity, cell phones or Internet make for an extremely relaxing getaway.

Rustic cabins, with primitive conditions-perfect, quiet private get-away. Has a rowingboat for each cabin. Easy access to the Greenbrier Hike and Bike Trail. Almost Heaven...

I hesitate to write this review lest this secret gem of a state park become too widely known. The really fun part are the pioneer cabins! Clean, well appointed and fun to figure out. Not a fan of the vault toilets but hey, beats a log!
