The museum was small but had numerous things of interestto nature loving folks. The gift shop as well had some unusualthings to purchase. Employees went out of their way to helpand were very friendly.

Found this place without meaning to. Davis W.Va. is surrounded by great outdoor sites. This tract is undeveloped with secluded camp sites along a beautiful river. The roads are rough but passable and there are plenty of places to walk out to see the river or to cross the river. Its easy to find on the outskirts of Davis, W.Va itself. Look just behind the largest grocery store at the edge of town and you will find a dirt/gravel road with a WMA sign for Little Canaan. Don't look for stores, lodges, activities. You need to bring what you need and enjoy by hiking or biking.
