Glacier National Park is amazing from the ground but it is even more spectacular from above. We saw waterfalls, glaciers, hidden hangouts...it was very cool. It's a little pricey but it's worth it if you want a unique experience.

Husband had wanted to take a helicopter tour for years. This was THE place to do that! The people that run this also rent cars, which we needed to do as RV's aren't allowed in Glacier National park. They are incredibly friendly as was the pilot. It was probably a once in a lifetime thing for us as it was a serious chunk of change for our family, but completely worth it. There was no way we would have been able to see that much of Glacier during our short time there. Just incredible views! Made us determined to go back sometime to hike to some of the areas we saw from the air.

I decided to spurge on my trip to Glacier and take a heli-tour. I thought it would be expensive, but hey, life is short and then you die! It was nowhere near as expensive as I thought it would be. Regardless, it was definitely worth it! You will see glaciers, mountains, lakes, etc., that you would never be able to see in Glacier otherwise. It was awe-inspiring for me to be able to see scenery from the air that I had just hiked days before and from a completely different angle. It was amazing to fly over Hidden Lake and then the geography changes and drops down to Avalanche lake. We also saw Grinnell Lake and Swiftcurrent Lake from a distance. It was fantastic to see the backcountry glaciers. The pilot narrates everything and points out the names of glaciers, lakes, backcountry chalets, etc. I did the one hour trip and was extremely glad that I did. This goes up to Waterton and the border plus the rest of the Park. I am returning to Glacier in 2016 and I am definitely planning on taking this heli-tour again. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Fantastic experience. It was a beautiful day for this flight. We did the 30 minute tour and flew over the entire park and all all the lakes and glaciers up close and personal. The pilot was informative and a good pilot. It was one of the highlights of this vacation and I would recommend it to everyone as an excellent way to get to see all of the park. You just don't get those views from the ground level.

Glacier NP is so massive and taking a heli-tour is the best way to see a great portion of it. Flying across the continental divide, seeing melting glaciers, watching the geography change. I've never been happier to face my fear of flying in my life. My brother rode in the front of the helicopter, with a glass bottom, I don't know how he did it but I'm glad it was him. After we took the heli tour we drove going to the sun road and really knew where we were in the park, thanks to our pilot.Do it.

Excellent trip. The owner/operators of this business are down to earth people who know how to do a professional tour. We arrived a half hour early and they were flexible and got us in the air right away so we could fly the one hour tour, even though we originally had booked a half hour. Our pilot was courteous, friendly and professional. Had never taken a heli ride before, but glad we splurged. Scenery was unreal and we felt very safe. It might seem expensive, but hey, flight time and isurance are not cheap and this trip is worth every penny. You definately get what you pay for. They also have a car rental fleet. We had one of their mini vans for four days, as we were traveling in a motorhome and didn't want to pull our car in the mountains. Great service on that end too, they came to the KOA and picked us up. No hassels, rental was reasonably priced and in new condition.

This was our first heli tour and it was more than fantastic! I can not compare to any other helicopter tour but, I do recognize quality of service, knowledge and professionalism. The experience was exceptional from every point of view: punctuality, all the great landmarkks from Glacier NP we saw from the air, a funny, respectful and knowledgeable pilot... and, of course the beauty and magnificence of Glacier National Park...! I just want to go back and do the one hour tour! Fantastic experience! Do not miss it!

We had never taken a helicopter tour before, but decided to splurge. Wow! We took the 1 hour tour & got to go from West Glacier up to the Canadian border and back. We could see several glaciers up close - something you can't do from a car or tour bus. The park is breath-taking from below and just as much so from up above - just from a different vantage point. I get motion sickness, but did ok. Our pilot was great and pointed out landmarks as we went along. We recommend it to others. Expensive, but worth it.

This is an hour tour and if 4 or more the cost was $250 each. The views are incredable and the pilot was very knowledgable. It is the best way to see the park, the glaciers and we actually crossed into Canda. I think this was best tour we have done and we have done several heli tours in other places. Great chance to get some amazing photos.

We had a wonderful time on the flight. The staff was professional and flexible with our large group of 10. We arrived an hour early, so they took us then. The views were amazing and we had an unforgettable way to celebrate my parents 25th wedding anniversary. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a special way to see the park.

I've been on many helicopter rides in various parks. This exceeded all of them. The equipment is top notch and safety is an obvious priority. We went for 30 minutes because we had one person in our party who had never been in a helicopter. She loved the ride and felt very safe. You are able to see things from above that you will never see while driving in the park. A hotel in the middle of nowhere. The fire lookout towers. Glaciers that you can almost touch. The glaciers are slowly melting and aren't expected to last much longer (few years) The location of this venue is 5 minutes outside of the West Entrance to Glacier Park. Do this.... you'll be glad you did.

I'm soooo glad me and my mom chose to tour GNP via helicopter, and especially with this company! I booked this tour for us on a whim, just because I knew if I sat and thought about it I would chicken out... I've never been on a helicopter and I'm afraid of heights! I called to make reservations and we were able to book a flight for the next day. The woman was nice and answered all of my questions. I booked us a hour flight with other people just so it would be cheaper. We arrived about 1215...our flight was scheduled at one... And by 1220 the rest of the group we were flying with had arrived so we were in the air by 1230! There was 6 in our group total. Now, I don't know how they determine who is going to ride in the front with the pilot, or if they do it based on who arrives first (we did), but walking to the helicopter a woman came up to us and said that one of us could decide who wants to ride up front. Either way was fine with me, but my mom told me to go ahead so I had the best seat in the house! The pilot (cole? Coleman? Sorry!) was super nice, cracked a few jokes, and narrated the entire flight. So glad he was our pilot! He was excellent. For those of you who are worried or afraid because you've never been on a heli, don't be!! Do it! I had never been and honestly i forgot I was on one the majority of the time! The flight was smooth, and the pilot made take off and landing look like a breeze. I highly recommend the hour tour. It went by so fast, but it is completely worth every penny. Ask to be placed with another group if there's less than 4 so it will be cheaper. There is just so much of the park you don't see while driving or even hiking, you can see so much more this way!! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Since Glacier is mostly accessible through hiking trails (over 400 miles of them), this is a perfect way to experience a much greater portion of the Park. The company (pilots & staff) were enthusiastic and eager to please. Glacier from the air is a unique experience. It is well worth the ticket price. We took the 1 hour flight and anything less would have left me feeling sad...there is so much to see.

Amazing park views. We chose the hour option to go to the border (It was neat to see the line cut through the trees for the border division). It is west side access close to the NP and easy to spot on hwy. Staff was friendly but not a super Hi-tech operation. If you are used to helo rides at other destinations (Vegas/Hawaii/NYC) - they do not offer a video of trip (bring your own camera) nor interactive microphones to ask pilot questions. Bight side to that is they do not try to upsell you on pictures or video sale. We had to revise our original plans of an afternoon ride due to wind and they found a slot the next morning to accommodate us. Wear darker cloths if you go in the morning as flying into the sun creates a reflection that impact picture taking. We had a group of 5 and no one joined us so got to chose where we sat. Only 4 customer seats face the front so if you are #5 or 6 you fly backwards. Pilot was knowledgeable and friendly. They were patient about us taking pictures outside the helo before and after which was nice - no rushing like you find in more commercial operations. Since we went to Glacier at beginning of July and some trails still closed this was a perfect option to see more of the park. Plus being so close to the mountain tops was an adventure as well as seeing the beauty reflected in the lakes.

We had a great experience! Stopped by to see about a reservation, and there was another couple waiting for someone to share a tour. We did the 30 minute tour, so it was $125.00 each for 4 of us and they were able to take us for our flight on the spot. The pilot was a great tour guide, and we were able to enjoy a lot of beautiful scenery that cannot be seen from an automobile or a very long hike. Never having been on a helicopter, I was a little apprehensive, but the pilot was great and the flight was smooth. I would definitely do this again - and take the longer 1 hour tour.
