Incredible collection of animal taxidermy, school books, dresses and a skeleton! So many families memorabilia - a must stop if you're following your family tree!

I take a long stroll on Main St and run into this museum. Big signs claim it is FREE and I enter. It turns out to be very interesting experience. Museum it is not, in the traditional sense of the word. History it is, though: it is a hodge-podge of memorabilia, without order or organization of any type. Two floors of photos, historical documents, every day life items, taxidermy and more. If you are interested in history, you may find it very interesting. And yes, it is free, everything including the restrooms. You might also find tourist junk sold there, like a “bold man’s brush” (a flat piece of wood with handle) and some cards and books.
