Took my Girlfriend here for her first racing experience ever, she later admitted she was not really sure what to expect. She is hooked, Kentucky Speedway is a fan's race track, no seat is a bad seat, the area around the track makes it very easy to get to and from the track even if you decide to walk the entire way.Getting in and out of the parking area was the easiest I have ever experienced. There is plenty of camping parking which one day I look forward to using but in the meantime driving in and out is just as good.

I had received tickets to this years Nascar Nationwide race from the track because of the Rusty Wallace Racing experience. It was scheduled for one weekend but the track was doing maintenance that prevented them from having the event. The track offered up 2 tickets to the Sprint Cup race. I took my father who has a breathing condition. Parking was free. As we were walking up they had a ton of golf carts shuttling people from the parking lot to the track entrance. One gentleman saw my dad taking a break from the walk to the racetrack and offered us a ride on the golf cart. The track was extremely clean. I have been to Ky Speedway several times in years past but this was one of the best experiences I have had.

You get to drive REAL NASCAR, race cars used by teams and races. They are Seriously fast. It's best to go with friends and have a little competition for bragging rights on the fastest laps.

I attended the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience. I don't know if I can ever express how awesome it was. I highly recommend it to anyone who ever has the chance to do it. Kentucky Speedway is an awesome track and all of people with Rusty Wallace Racing were a pleasure to deal with. I say we will definitely be back again!!!!!!

our son bought me a race car package, you can drive the cars yourself...wonderful experience if you have always wanted to drive on a track.."crash course" before you drive the car but fun, fun, fun

First time visiting this race track and glad we got the chance. We arrived about 7 for a 7:30 NASCAR Nationwide series race. Traffic was managed well both on the way in and out of the race track. We sat in the Quaker State tower section and the seats were very comfortable with lots of leg room. The entire race track was visible. Concession prices on beer were a bit steep...$7 for a 12 oz Miller Lite; but a pretzel w/cheese was only $4. Bathrooms are easily accessible and were clean. Make sure to take along earplugs if you are not comfortable with loud noises. When all the race cars come around at the same time, it is LOUD. Also when they prepare the track for the race, a jet engine is used to "blow dry" the track and it too is very loud. A lot of people did not use ear plugs but I could not have watched it without.

I've hit this track twice now. Traffic has never been a problem for me. The workers are Kentucky friendly, the food prices are a little high for what you get, but better than ball park prices. Parking is simple, and the campgrounds are well kept. Note: don't buy gas locally on race weekends. They jack up the price by 5-10%. Plenty of other options down the road of few miles.

Visited here to see NASCAR with a few friends from the uk. Getting in and out on race day were well managed(we arrived at 3pm for a 7:30 race). Pre race there was plenty of space to shelter from the rain and some good value track souvenirs. The race went ahead on time despite the heavy rain that had fallen earlier. A good race with great viewing - we were in KYTK which is one of the higher stands - we could see all the track whilst having a good view of the end of the pit lane.

On Saturday September 13th, 2014, It was my first driving experience with Rusty Wallace. Art was the instructor in our class. He was very professional and extremely patient with answering all questions. You are taught about driving and what terms are used, along with the understanding of the meaning, what to do and what not to do. Next you go to get fit for a safety suit, nylon cap, and helmet. Then, you get in line for your ride/drive with yours fans sitting in the designated areas. Once This track is remarkable!!!! Yes there are a couple of bumps, but I thought it was a good thing. It keeps the drivers alert! The retired NASCAR car I drove handled perfectly, had great tires, because you know I checked it out, I am a Grandma! By the way before you drive, I recommend that you take a ride along with a professional driver to learn the track! PLUS you get to go up to qualifying speeds. I loved the ride along, Josh was a fabulous, not to mention good looking pro driver, but the driving was like WOW! Totally awesome!!! I received this for a gift from my significant other, Mark. He bought us both the driving packages so I purchased the ride alongs for both of us! It was great day at Kentucky Speedway. When you decide that you are ready for this, go for the "Start Your Engines" Package, you will love it!!! Thanks Kentucky Speedway ( Mark Simendinger, your track is fabulous, and so are you) and all the people ( Brittany and Mark Ebert - Thanks so much!!!) I love Rusty Wallace Racing Experience!

I purchased a NASCAR Driving Experience for my husband through Groupon. His day consisted of a 45 minute class on the do's and don't of driving an actual race car. (He drove one of Jeff Gordan's ACTUAL race cars.) More track side instructions- NASCAR works hard to keep everyone safe. He was given a fire suit, ear buds, and a helmet. As he drove his way around the track (there was no one but him in the car) a spotter helped him safely around the track, He reached speeds of over 170mph. Lets just say he was shaking and grinning ear to ear when he got out of the car.I highly recommend you consider doing this. Hubby already planning his next trip.Side note: for those who go but just to watch be sure to bring something non-alcoholic to drink. There is little to no food or drink options. I read my Kindle while I waited for my husband to get on the track. TAKE YOUR CAMERAS!!

Race fans if you have never been to this track it is a must perfect seating great for those who are wheelchair bound. Seats are elevated so when fans stand to see what is happening on the back side of track your view is not obstructed

Wife and I went to the last race, this was the second time as we went to the inagrual Sprint Cup race. Once again we were very dissapointed. We thought it would have gotten better with a couple years under thier belt. As for traffic didn't affect us so nor worries there as we camped just north (4 miles) in Indiana, great campground. We had VIP tickets and enjoyed the experience down in pit's and our seats where great. The problem is the concessions within the race. They ran out of food before the race even started, coolers not authorized so waiting for expensive drinks (water $6.00, Beer $8.00) etc was tragic, heck you missed half the race waiting in line. We won't be back, we enjoy NASCAR and find other venues, although a greater distance, more geered towards it's customers and better prepared for race day. Sad as it's a great track. Next race for us is a true NASCAR Venue DEGA.....Send people there or Charlotte to learn how to put on a race Kentucky!

I received a gift certificate for Christmas from my wife and kids and grandkids. We arrived early and were directed where to go and signs we posted pointing you where to go. Everyone was very professional and courteous. There was a delay getting started because of weather. They had to finish some rides and drives from the day before but they handled this very well. Very great experience.
