We had some time to kill in the afternoon. We strolled around the campus. We couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Great job on making a comforting place for our students. Everyone was so friendly.

For a small Baptist college, the sports programs at GC are outstanding! The football, basketball ( men and women's), volleyball and others rate in the top-10 NAIA Division schools. Many National Championships have been won by the Tigers!

Our Granddaughter is a Senior there and is getting a great education. You do not have to be a Theatre major to be in plays.

Check out the buildings, especially Giddings Hall and their Library. Sometimes the Ann Wilson Art Gallery will have nice exhibits and its open to the public.

We had a chance to sample the food prepared by the college food service during our recent stay in Georgetown for the Horsey Hundred. We signed up for the optional breakfast served at the dining hall on campus. The food offered was just what a cyclist would expect before a long ride. There were scrambled eggs, ham(on Sat.), Bacon(on Sun.), juicy watermelon, fresh fruit salad, hash browns, oatmeal, french toast, etc. There were drinks such as hot coffee and tea, juices, or milk. This is such an improvement over the motel breakfasts that are offered locally. We also had a chance to sample lunch at the college both Saturday and Sunday. Everything was delicious and prepared with care. We cyclists like our food and this was excellent.
