Walk around and read the information. Good place to watch wildlife and have a picnic. Easy to get to and close to downtown Frankfort.

My kids and I love going here! We have our special place to go play in the creek. Usually it isn't very crowded either. There are hiking trails and pavilions with tables to eat at.

Cove Spring Park is a nice area for families to relax. The archery park is great for practicing and the covered picnic shelters provide a nice seating area that is great for events.

We frequent this park, all three sections. The trails are easy for children, and on days we don't feel like doing the longer trail, the short trails are perfect. You can do a 15 minute stroll or a 2-3 hour hike and everywhere in between. Wildflowers in spring are wonderful (middle section). The wetlands area is nice as well as the upper part where events are hosted. The middle part has a waterfall and picnic shelters which are all very accessible. Wonderful place for families or individuals to spend some time.

I came here on a sunny warm day in early November. This park has 3 sections to it. One section looks well over Frankfort, providing a beautiful view with a paved hiking trail (also suitable for handicapped and wheelchair accessibility, a big bonus!) that has an archery range with a huge covered pavillion and picnic tables. It has a tended wooded trail nearby that is an archery target range that is very impressive and well kept. Another section of the park has a lower section that probably intersects up to the previously mentioned section with trails. It has a covered shelter pavillion with a flushing toilet bathroom shelter. The highlight of this area is the Cove Springs, which is a small waterfall. It also is very well tended and kept and has a very nice bridge (although last winter I slipped badly on the ice built up on it due to the bridge coming up to a sharp inverted U shape and going down sharply as well!) The last section is across highway 127 and has 2 very nice trails, one going up to provided a very nice view over 127 and parts of Frankfort, and the other a lower trail that ends up at a marsh with benches and a deck with a covered portion and some printed guides to bird watching. This park is Frankfort's hidden treasure! I love this park and have been here many times in the past year since discovering it!
