fort knox water park

My daughter, 2 grandsons (age 5 and 8) and I went to this water park and will definitely go back this summer. It is not a very big park but on a hot summer day, it was not overly crowded and there was plenty of shade. It costs a mere $5.00 per person to get in and you can bring in a small cooler if you want or they have a concession stand that is very reasonably priced with hot dogs, nachos, chips, ice cream, drinks, etc.. There is a picnic shelter and several picnic tables to eat at. They have restrooms, lockers and free life jackets available. There are also several lifeguards on duty. They have a couple of nice tall slides and some obstacle type crossings. Also, there is a separate baby pool. The large pool itself starts out at ankle level and goes up to 4 1/2 feet deep. Lots of lounge chairs and shade if you so desire. Every adult has to have a photo I.D. to get on base! The only downside in my opinion would be that older teens would find the park too tame. Great Fun!!!
