“东部海滨公园”,这是当地人的叫法,它占地约68公顷,坐落于波特兰人口密集的Munjoy山东部山脚下。它里面设有运动场、棒球场、篮球场、网球场以及公共花园。这个海滨公园还包括了9公顷的艾伦堡公园,那里能眺望到卡斯柯港湾。这座公园特色景点还包括古老的机关炮、一个船桅杆、一座内战纪念碑以及供观景台使用的停车场。从这里看到的一望无垠的海洋和岛屿都非常与众不同!东部海滨公园的很多地方是一个露天的宽阔的斜坡草地,配有漫步小道、人行道,以及通往海岸的石板路。在东部海滨公园的东海滩是一个野餐区和一个渔船码头,还有公共卫生间以及游客专用的停车场。环绕东部海滨公园的海岸线小径将老港口和后峡谷以及巴克斯特林荫大道连接起来了。这对自行车旅游者、跑步者、遛狗者以及情侣来说是一个完美的游玩路线。

东大道主要是用来让人们欣赏海景的,这个地方可以遛狗,可以骑车,可以划船。在这儿散步很舒服。船上有洗手间,这儿是家庭聚餐的好地方。因为我们住在弗罗里达,我们只在夏天来这儿来,我们都是坐船过来,我们也时常自己划船。但是晚上我一般不来这儿来。这儿可以看到小海豹,小海豚等。

This is one of the best walks I have ever been on. You won't be alone, but you'll enjoy easy walking, beautiful views, large grassy expanses, and, of course the fresh Maine air.

We have been twice...this trip and in July...the summer is friendlier on the skin but the view is the best anywhere in any season. Dress appropriately for the weather and take a stroll or just enjoy the views!

It's a great place for a picnic, sunbathing, playing frisbee, hike around, walk your dog, bicycle, etc. it's a great place to be outside in Portland. There's even a commercial and a public boat launching area. It's where I go in Portland if I want to just chill and be outside in nature without leaving the downtown peninsula. It's one of the places that makes Portland so uniquely awesome!

Sit on the park benches or stroll along the paths. Walk your dog, ride your bike. Best views of Casco Bay in Portland.

We drove through and saw many people relaxing on the lawns or going to the water. A nice place for a picnic or an afternoon of relaxing. Pet friendly. Also enjoyed the architecture of the old homes.

beautiful spot to watch the world go by - whether it's the boats or the walkers. Wonderful walking trail and paths there. Peaceful. concerts, beach...... just go, the place itself is so relaxing. easy to find if you drive east on congress street (the main downtown street).

Another section of Portland brimming with views, recreational activities, greenery, walking paths, boat landing, East End Beach, a large gazebo, vire findets, a playground, ball field, and a large area for summer concerts and other city sponsored events. There is so much more...such a great place in the city to walk, jog, read, write...photograph ops galore, or even exercise your dog and yourself. Trees and grass...boats and beach...views and friendly faces. A wonderful way to spend a morning, an afternoon, or to watch a sunset in Portland. Another feather in the cap of this great city...the Eastern Promenade.

Eastern Promenade is one of those gems on the edge of the city. There are places to walk/exercise, tranquil spots to look at the water, and a great place to view seasonal fireworks.
