north star orchard

I am a wanna-be orchardist, and have been apple-picking for decades, but ever since I found this place a few years ago, I cannot go anywhere else. The apples are delicious and a great value. but what truly sets this orchard apart is its STUNNING panoramic views of the western mountains. Pack a lunch, and enjoy it at what I think is THE best picnic spot in Maine. Add to all this a friendly family of owners who love what they do, and are willing to share their passion for farming, wildlife, etc plus a great store with pumpkins, etc, and you have the perfect autumn destination.PS, the best cider around, and it's preservative free!!
