Just a drive by, don't think there is really anything to do on the point, and I don't think you can get on there.

It is a little out of the way but then you are in Maine, everything is a little out of the way. Great view of the ocean and overall view of the Presidential house but not worth going out of your way for. If you are staying in or stopping by Kennebunkport then by all means find your way out here to this spot. To drive from town, stop and take photos and return shouldn't take more than 20-30 minutes if there is no traffic. (i.e. the President is not home) The home is well shielded with walls and bushes (no pun) so don't expect to see anyone but the secret service.

You can't get close; secret service is there. But, you can stop and take a picture. It's a nice vies and nice house.

We have been years before, but had forgotten how beautiful the view there is. Breathtaking, and of course we always look forward to getting pics of President Bush's residence.

It is a great view of the coast. Being a private summer residence of President George H.W. Bush it is only accessible to view from the roadway. Our visit was in winter and during the off season so there is no activity but a large home with a great location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and is worth the time to stop. There is an anchor dedicated to the president at one of the roadside look outs.

You will get to look across the bay at the wonderful retirement retreat and home of former President Bush. This can be seen from Ocean Avenue.

This point gives you some of the most amazing sunsets I have ever seen. The whole coastline is beautiful and could only imagine what it looks like during summer. This point also allows you a great view of the Bush compound. I had read and seen pictures of this place growing up, it lived up to what I thought the view would be.

The Bush compound is protected by Secret Service, especially when the family is in town, so you cannot get access. Why would you want to bother them anyway? Walker's Point is beautiful - typical Maine rocky shore and the views are breathtaking and accessible all along the way from the Colony Hotel. Best to walk it. Every step is lovely and the shorebirds and surf are fun to watch.

We located this beautiful area of Kennebunkport (a little out of town) and had amazing views of the Bush Family Compound across the water. Its a lovely place befitting the Bushes. This family has been in this area for many decades and all we could think of was what a truly beautiful place to retire to. Would definitely recommend going to Walker's Point just to see the amazing views.

Great drive-by. You can't get close, but you can see the home in the distance. This is a nice drive along the coast.

Just a quick pull off on the side of the road. Can only park for about 15 minutes, but you do not need any longer than that. Great pictures and neat to see. Plaque and anchor and a few benches.

We took a bus tour from Portland to Kennebunkport, and the Bush compound was on our agenda. We didn't see the Pres, but the family homestead was beautiful. The town was quaint with loads good food and T-shirt shops.

We had a great view of the Bush compound. Regrettably, they were back in Texas. A very nice plaque sits along the cutout where you can stop and take pictures.

It is a must see when in Kennebunkport. The view is fantastic and it's always nice to know they are genuine folks.

I can imagine why GW Bush would want a mansion out here. Just beautiful, water all around, rugged yet pretty and quite isolated.
