We stayed here one night on our way to Canada and had a room with two beds. We found the staff friendly and efficient. Our room was small, though, and we had trouble finding a place to put our second suitcase. In general, it's time to spiff up the property a bit by painting chipped doors, cleaning carpet stains, and updating rooms. The lobby was elegant looking and we found the food in the restaurant to be excellent. We did not have time for any spa services.

WE stayed at Best Western Bad choice didnt know this was a hotel as well will stay here next time. The spa was awesome got my nails down a massage the full treatment. The staff were awesome very friendly especially the housekeepers which was weird as we didnt rent a room they still treated me like I was a guest one guy Joe showed me around to the Spa then I saw him walking around and he showed me the different rooms he was very outgoing, and so eager to help you could tell he was busy as he was sweating but still took the time to show me around great customer service you definitely won a customer Thank you for making my crappy stay at another hotel a terrific experience with yours!!!!!

My wife and I decided to spend the day at the Senator Spa as we heard a great deal and were told that it was the best Spa to go to as we were visiting Family and friends in the Region.We had an appointment at 1.30 pm and decided to arrive 15 minutes earlier so that they could show us around before having our message has we planned to then used their facilities, such as Jacuzzi, Steam room etc…. once our massage was finished for the entire day.The receptionist told showed us around and then asked us if we brought our own slippers as the one given from the Spa are very uncomfortable and she strongly recommended to use ours if we had any. (Found that comment very weird, considering that she is working there, not very professional)We were kindly asked to wait a few minutes and that our Therapist will be arriving shortly ( we waited close to 30 minutes without anybody offering us any beverages or offering us any face towels while waiting and staff were just constantly passing by but ignoring us completely.Both therapist finally arrived and escorted us to our respective massage room.My therapist asked me my where would I like her to work and emphasize the massage the most on.I told her that I was used to Sport massage, deep tissue and would like something similar.The massage was simply the worst massage I ever received, despite the fact that I clearly told her what I was expecting earlier she was just doing the complete opposite. I told her at several occasion but she did not do anything about it. After some time she told me that I was all set and showed me out and redirected to the waiting area again for me to wait for my wife offering me a glass of room temperature water served in a disposable cup. (Was at least expecting a glass of cold water in a descent glass)I looked at my watch as I immediately felt that the massage was rushed as I paid for 60 minutes. The massage started at pm (due to the delay) and I was done by 2.45pm, sharp!!! That’s 45 minutes and not 60!!!We then decided to use their facility but wanted to take a quick shower beforehand.The showers were very basic. Not great amenities as I would expect in any 4 Star Hotel such as Individual Shower gel, shampoo etc….just a very generic bottle that can be used as shampoo and shower gel, with no brand on the bottle at all.The towels were ridiculously small and dry and did not smell right.W e then decided to use the Stem room. It was so old that my wife and I were not very sure if that was safe or not. We decided to still try and guess what? We were right! We had to press the “ON” button to get it going, which we did.The steam coming out was so strong and brutal that W e could not stay in there more that 2 minute due to the fact that the pressure of the steam coming out was so strong that it burnt our feet as it was coming out from the bottom.After such a bad experience we decided to leave as we were just not enjoying anymore and kind of got a little frustrated as we Paid 200 US DOLLAR for the both of us that was not worth the experience at all.I will never go back to that Spa ever again!

This hotel was awesome in its day. It needs a lot of maintenance. Our stay was good. Nice to get away for the weekend. The first room we stayed in the spa tub plug was broke. The next night the shower head in our other room was broke.

The staff was very nice, treat you like family. The surroundings are very pretty & there is a variety of options from manicures to massage to whirl pool spas.

What an oasis! It's quiet, beautiful and serene. I got a pedicure and a facial and both were exquisite! They used high quality products, were complete professionals and knew what they were doing. i would return over and over again :)

The spa is excellent and the food excels( especially the Sunday brunch). Did not experience the hotel, but the spa is complete with many extras, including 2 pools ( indoor and outdoor) pools, 2 hot tubs (indoor and outdoor), keys for lockers provided along with an abundant supply of towels. Frienbdly and courteous staff.

My daughter-in-law and I were treated like queens- from the moment we walked in. we were given a tour of the salt water pool, the jacuzzi, sauna, and told we could order lunch and drinks- it was like paradise. We each had the most fabulous facial ever given by Lisa martin. I felt so stress free and relaxed- it was totally wonderful. The staff works as a team and they certainly know how you want to be treated. It was better than expected- they certainly have worked long and hard to have such a wonderful team.Still feeling relaxed- two days later.

It was an ok hotel. The room had a very bad distribution. The bathroom door was in the middle of the room and very uncomfortable. I will not get back unless there is no space at any other one better

I had my wedding here and they exceeded expectations. Staff was friendly, everything was beautiful, and the food was wonderful. I have been back yearly since, and every time my husband and I enjoy our meal!

I've had a membership to this spa in the past and love the pool, clean and private locker rooms, showers, exercise equipment and work out area. I have had a few massages here. They are expensive but worth it.

wonderful service. You have to ask for better pricing eitherwise you will be over paying. The restaurant is good but way overpriced. The rooms in the main hotel are nice, but you may get stuck in the back section or in the separate unit back by the outdoor pool which tends to be older and in need of some updating. However, the Spa is very nice and has great service. I have stayed here 4 or 5 times now and have never had anything but great customer service. They have an indoor and outdoor pool. Overall this is a place where I would stay again. Just watch the pricing as you have to negotiate for better price. The Augusta area has lots of dinning options at better cost.

My wife, Patti and myself stayed for 4 nights at the Senator Inn. First class all the way around from Roger Bintliff, with whom we met when we arrived, to the rest of his staff. Roger took the time to chat with us, welcome us and thank us for chosing the Senator Inn. Great food in the restaurant and the staff was very, very friendly. We will definitely be coming back for another stay!

We stay here several times a year and it's always a very pleasant and relaxing time had by both my husband and myself. It's one of our favorite out of all the Lafayette Hotels so far. Your house salad is to die for and the spa is very nice. I've had a couple pedi's while staying here.

My husband and I stayed an evening at the Senator and had a great time. We both had scheduled services, my husband a pedi, and myself a hair cut. My husband loved his pedi and can't wait to get another and I had the most wonderful experience with Master Stylist, Tammy. She was incredible and what I appreciated the most was that she was so thoughtful in how she cut my hair. Normally when I get my hair cut, I go into the salon and they ask me what I want and then they cut it no matter if it's a good style for me or not. Tammy actually advised me on what would look good on me with my face shape and the outcome was incredible. Not only is she a wonderful stylist, she was great company and we had some fun conversation.
