This fixture has been here at Lake George since my first trip in 1970. Corny and hokey and kids today may say "Cheesey' but still great fun. Not for little ones but great for a scare for 7 and older.

Went on Halloween and found this to be a first class attraction. Clean, neat wonderful displays. Give them accolades for being open.

I looked at the reviews and thought it would not be scary for my 10 year old. Being that it was a rainy day, we thought this would be a better option than wasting money at one of the arcades. It turned out to be much scarier than I had thought. If you have younger children, please keep that in mind. I did like, however, seeing a lot of the older movies.

We came to the House of Frankenstein on our trip to the Lake George Area. What a disappointment! We walked in and found out the price was $10 per person to walk around the area for at most 15 minutes! What?! Definitely not worth that price! The place seemed lame. We walked out and went shopping on the strip instead. Ehh, I wouldn't waste my time/money.

If your looking for a scare this is not the place to go. This place is pretty cool with the displays and wax people something to defiantly check out.

It was okay not average at all. A bit scary but nothing that is going to make you scream"! I wouldn't waste my money on this again. Not impressed at all!!!!

Not going to lie, it was a little lame. Not really something for adults. The displays are really old and look like they could be updated, more modern, cleaned....something. It wouldn't be bad but I don't think it was worth my 10$ To wander through it for 15 minutes.

My family truly enjoys wax museums, call us weird...but, we really enjoyed ourselves here. My son is a HUGE Frankenstein fan, so, we knew we would not be able to leave Lake George without seeing the museum.

This place is a little dated and musty but the fact that it is right downtown makes it fun to see. I had a couple of starts when we went through. Sometimes Frank is even outside during the day and will pose with you for a picture.

this is nothing more than an overpriced tourist trap.you look at some wax figures behind glass and pay 30 bucks for a family of four. save your money.

Fun - kids under 5 are free. Be sure kids are not afraid before going in as there are no refunds. Quick thing - not longer than 15 minutes.

Skip this place. It's so old and not even remotely scary! Half the displays where you push a button didn't work or were so slow we missed the action before moving onto the next thing. Plus - it was stupidly expensive - almost 40 bucks for two adults and two kids. And a little dirty inside too.

My fiancé and I were walking through Lake George village and we saw the House of Frankenstein and decided to go in after realizing my fiancé has never been in a wax museum before. He was pleasantly surprised and I realized how much of it I forgot since I was last in as a child summering in Lake George. The end is totally worth it as well! Not recommended to families with younger children since its dark and some of the attractions made me jump as an adult.

Whether you purchase tickets and take the tour or just visit the lobby a trip to the House of Frankenstein Wax Museum is a must if you visit Lake George, NY. We have taken the tour twice and it is entertaining, but for the faint of heart you get the feeling by just stepping into the lobby. Usually there is a 7 foot "monster" roaming near the entrance. This place helps define what Lake George NY is all about.

Was very dark, not so scary but the kids will find it scary. I hate dark places but agreed to go anyway. My granddaughter is 10 and felt she could not complete the museum, exited a little before the end. There was someone there to show us out, so that was good.
