A nice place to have lunch or have a drink. Trivia on Tuesday nights and an outdoor space in the summer where bands will play.

Stopped for a few drinks with friends, ended up also eating dinner. The service was very good and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

We stopped here for lunch on Wednesday after visiting the Saranac/Matt brewing shop which is almost directly across the street. The restaurant was almost dead when we arrived at 12:30. The menu offered some traditional Irish fare as well as more American favorites. Our waitress turned out to be the bartender, who was splitting duty. It didn't impact our service too much but it could have been a bit faster. My husband ordered a Pattymelt and my son ordered the House burger which had irish and American bacon, swiss and thousand island dressing. Both enjoyed their burgers. I ordered a reuben sandwich which was lightly flavored with thousand island dressing, as it should be. My daughter ordered the irish mac and cheese which had a different flavor which she didn't enjoy (I didn't care for it either). It was also a bit on the dry side. Prices were reasonable ($9 for a burger). We were able to order and eat our lunch in about an hour. I would come here again.

We go most Fridays after work to have a beer and really great Irish Fare. I usually get the same things at each restaurant I like, but I've expanded my choices and tried almost every meal they've offered in the menu as well as their specials. We do stay away from Varick St during Saranac Thursdays in the summer since it's a great place for the 21-30 yr old crowd, but go at least 2x a month Sept thru May. Waitstaff is great even when it gets busy as the 7p hour strikes. Very attentive and quality and consistent food! Saranac Beer and Sodas available too!
