A visit to Delta Lake can include some really great camping, fishing, boating, beach or just walking the grounds. We live locally and enjoy going there to support my amateur photography habit! The scenes are constantly changing along with the birds and wild life. Each visit brings more to enjoy and great folks to visit with. I have posted a variety of photographs.

Very well maintained, clean and beautiful lake. The history surrounding it is even better! Great for families, camping and boating!

Love this place in the fall. It's easy to get a waterfront site in the fall, and it's beautiful taking your folding chair and cup of coffee to the water's edge and watching the reflection of the autumn trees in the lake. The sites are very large, flat, easy to maneuver a pop-up trailer around, nice fire ring that can easily be moved to your favorite spot. The park is close to Rome so you can easily go into town for supplies, dining, or Internet access.

We camped for a week at this park in August. We were fortunate enough to get a waterfront site. It is a very wooded campground and mostly all shaded. The sites are HUGE. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. You can see your neighbours but they have left plenty of trees in between the sites to make you feel you have lots of privacy. The park is well maintained and the staff very friendly. The washrooms could use some updating along with the shower house but both were very serviceable and cleaned on a regular basis. There are no electrical hook ups in the park but we are okay with that. We have a very tiny trailer and manage just fine without it. You don't see many big rigs in the park probably for that reason. The beach is very pretty and they have a bathhouse and concession stand at the beach. The concession stand is the only place that sells ice so if it is closed you have to go to town for ice. I think it would be better if the front gate sold ice too but the gas station is only down the road a bit if you need ice. There is lots of picnic day use areas and they really appeared very busy.Apparently the park is closing after Labour Day and they are doing some work to the park. Hopefully they won't mess with it too much. We just loved the rustic feel of the park.
