This is a regular spot for me and my local friends. We are an older bunch in our 40s and never feel out of place. The younger crowds normally head to Bourbon Street down the road. The Old Village Inn has a great bar with great service and a really good menu. They have a pool table up front and a juke box. If you want a quieter evening go to dinner early as the bar is crowded and loud later in the evenings especially on weekends. If you go early around 6 pm or so it is a great date night place for dinner. Nice atmosphere and you can walk down to the river front from here. The staff is wonderful!

When you go in it looks like a nice neighborhood bar. But in the back there are booths and table. The food is fabulous. They have the best burgers and fries. I love their quesadeos and the specials (roast lamb) is spectacular. The service is very good and the prices cannot be beat. I keep going back and am never disappointed.

Had lunch here a few weeks ago. Good, decent pub food. Nothing wild, a few things fried, washed down with a pint or two of Guinness. You get what you expect, which is nice.
